Do you have a problem with PDA? I honestly don't know why some people make such a big fuss about not exhibiting too much PDA, so I wanna hear your opinions. confused

Depends.

I mean if it's just a kiss or a hug that's cool with me, but if they are practically doing it, then it is excessive.

Meh, I won't make out with my girl in public but I think holding hands and kissing her if she wants to shows you love them.

Holding hands is fine for most people, but I can't stand doing that because when I hold my fiance's hand it leads to putting my arm around her, which leads to bear hugs, then dry humping ensues. She gets hella pissed when I dry hump her in public. Especially at Disneyland.

It' s all a matter of perspective. To onlookers, seeing two people in constant skin-to-skin contact in public is often taken as a gesture in bad taste. To the participants, the world has a population of two, them and their partner. All else is background.

Its not that hard to look away from two people doing what they want to do, I hate people whining about public affection.

Depends on the situation imo..

Kissing and hugging is fine, but that depends on where it is.. But the times I think of is mainly common sense, so no need to explain it..

I find PDA extremely inappropriate at times.
Like **** if you're in line getting ice cream don't freaking suck face while I stand there waiting to serve you. (it's happened to me before, I used to work and ice cream/chocolatier.)

It's not the PDA itself that bothers me, it's the time and place of it really.

I really hated it when my friend used to invite a whole group of us to hang out (a whole mixture of HER friends from different places, so we didn't really know each other) and ditch us all to go suck her boyfriend's face. When I asked her why she's gotta do that when we're all supposed to be hanging together as a GROUP, and why she can't save that for when they're alone, she got pissed at me and called me a bad friend, saying I never understand her. when watching GOF in theatres, i had this couple sitting right behind me. throughout the film they were going at it what with her on his lap and you get the picture.

I thought a PDA was a Personal digital assistant..

But no I don't have a problem with affection in public.

PDA means "Personal Digital Assistant" far more commonly than "Public Display of Affection, I call this a fail for using an acronym that is not commonly associated with the thing you're talking about.

Plus, public displays of affection are fine unless it's like 2 friends, then it's awkward.
