How about tactics? I seriously doubt Kenpachi would avoid a single punch.

We're talking about a guy who intentionally saps his own strength and puts bells in his hair so he can never surprise an opponent.

If he was a better fighter (or if he had a bankai) he'd be able to win. But since it's in his personality to revel in a fight he'll fight and fight and fight rather than taking a better avenue to victory.

We're going to try to allow selective japanese comics if it proves not to be a problem, but you'd really have to specify with a character like this, and probably provide scans and such as well to encourage debate...but it sounds like he's just tv/games/etc.
