The most beautiful language? I dunno, English? Danish?

I know the angriest languages, though. Ever been cussed out by a Russian or Japanese. Greatest languages to yell at people if you have the accent.

miss_swann
agreed a girl in my class is Russian she has some temper!

C. C. Cowgirl
Japanese is not very agressive.

Russian on the other hand is shock

ANATA WA WAKARIMASU KA.....

You're either outright joking, or the sickest Asiaphile on the planet... The tone in Japanese sounds like someone in a public restroom with no shame trying to pass a gigantic turd.

miss_swann
Lovely accent though, just out of interest is it just her or are all Russians that tempered? Because she bites.

ANATA WA WAKARIMASU KA.....

WAKARIMASEN

It really depends on the accent.

We have Tokyo accent- Typical accent you hear from most Japanese you've seen.

Osaka accent- That high-pitched accent the Laotians from King of the Hill use. (Imagine taking that to bed haha)

and InnerRise's favorite: The Seiyu accent- Obnoxious high-pitched litle girl-impression voice actors do.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Here's a question, though? Why don't you just put "Anata wa wakarimasu ka" on your sig?

Better yet, since all the words are spelled in hiragana, you could just go this: あなたはわかりますか。

As you may few know that International Mather Language Day celebrates on 21st February every year from 2000. 21st Feb (Ekushe February) was also celebrated as the Language Day for the Bangladeshis after the significant glorious event occurred on 21st February, 1952 as we are the only nation in the world that fought for their mother language.... sacrificed lives for the freedom to talk on their mother language!

Norwegian
British English
Old Norse/Icelandic
Swedish
Japanese

I'm fluent in three of these languages. Not surprised that Swedish is mentioned so often, but Swedish, Danish and Norwegian are practically the same. Grammatically there are only some slight differences between them, yet their pronunciation can be different. To me, it sounds like the Danish have a potato stuck in their throat. And Swedish is very 'sweet'. Tests results reveals that it's easier for a Norwegian to understand Danish and Swedish (pronounciation wise) than for them to understand Norwegian. Yet the Norwegians and Swedish understand each other better. I find it easier to read Danish than Swedish, yet easier to understand Swedish than Danish when they speak.

Regards, Yvonne
