I think that this film has potential to be great. I'll be happy if either Tyler Mane returns as Sabretooth or Vinnie Jones returns as the Juggernaut. Two people I'd like to see are the Wendigo & the Hulk but it's unlikely for either to appear, especially since the Hulk has his own film coming out next year.

I would like to see Brett ratner replaced with a better director for this film.

Brett Ratner isn't even directing this film anyway.

Thank god for that, The guy that they have chosen "gavin hood" has done a couple of films not sure what they're like


Seems william stryker is in the script but brian cox (who played him) is unsure of returning

I believe Tyler Mane is returning to play Sabretooth.
They are combining elements of Wolverine's first limited series with the Origin & Weapon X storyline.

I'd love it if the film focuses as much on Sabretooth as it will on Wolverine.

The Silver Samurai may be in it.

I know, I bought the Wizard magazine which states so. I'd love to see Vinnie Jones return as the Juggernaut.

Vinnie Jones was promoting another movie and he said that there is a good chance that he will be in it.

Last I heard he was in talks so there's a 50/50 chance he may be in the movie or that he may not be in the movie.

If the silver samurai does feature who do think would be a good choice to play him ?

Hey, I was going to say that. Ken Watanabe would be an excellent choice to play Kenuichio Harada..

Good choice.

Lets just hope the producers have the right brains to pick ken.

That's if the Silver Samurai will even be in this movie. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing Sabretooth.

Both should be in it.

I still want Sabretooth to be in no matter what. Tyler Mane did a pretty decent job in X-Men 1.

"There are heavy rumors that Silver Samurai will appear in the X-Men movie spin-off Wolverine and will be played by Ken Watanabe. However, Watanabe recently spoke against that"

Only other person i could think of is Takeshi Kaneshiro for silver samurai.

So, which outfit do you all think that Wolverine should wear for this film?

Well if its going all the way back to weapon X, They should start him off with his weapon X outfit with that helmet and all that then possibly the brown and gold later on.

Yeah, hopefully it'll look good. It shouldn't look ridiculously big, either.

wendigo should def be in this movie but sabretooth is good too

Wendigo probably won't be in this movie or if he is it'll be a little short fight.

That or put him in the sequal if the wolverine movie turns out to be good and makes a bit of cash at the box office.

That could work but it could just be one or two fights where Wolverine runs into him wreaking havoc.

I think they should give him his own title. They are also doing the weapon X thing again, I really wished they would have gone with the orignal plot in when he is in Japan.

Why would Juggernaut be in a wolverine movie? Juggernaut had nothing to do with the wepaon x Program

Premise
The film is set seventeen years before the first X-Men, and will center on Wolverine's early encounters with Sabretooth, William Stryker and the Weapon X program, and other mutants. The Blob and John Wraith may also feature, as well as Vietnam War flashbacks and a love interest for Wolverine

Juggernaut has long been rumored to be in this. I will wait and see if it turns true.

If Juggs or The Blob are in it then the movie sucks already.

I read that also. I guess they finally got it right. Schreiber is a good actor so he should be able to do well.

Michael C Hall would be awesome as Stryker, but he could probably pull off a lot of different Marvel characters.

There's been news of Ryan Reynolds as deadpool to appear in this movie now and also Gambit

Its already been frakked up with all these mutants. How can they possibly tell Howletts origin with all these people?

Gavin Hood will find a way if Tsotsi and Rendition are anything to go by since those two movies did well.

I hope this will not be a 3 hr film. I hope its more of a 2- 2 1/2 hour movie with lots of action and a kickass story. I hope all these mutants will just be cameos.. The Blob has just been confirmed..

Am I the only one who is confused why they decided to throw in Beak and Gambit?

I mean Deadpool and Sabertooth both have connections to wolverine and weapon x, but Gambit? and Beak?!?

Ryan Reynolds is going to completely take over this movie as Deadpool, I expect. Rarely in the history of superhero movies has a character been so appropriately cast.

News to me all i know for the story is its gonna start off with Logan in canada (hopefully using the Wolverine Origins story) and then eventually him getting placed into Weapon X.
