While travelling in Japan these characters unknowingly enter the Grudge house and thus become targets of this malevolent force.
Since returning to their respective homes, the characters have all rented the Grudge movies and now know what they are in for.
However this being the Grudge they don't know exactly when or how the Grudge will try to come for them, but know it will be sometime in the near future.
The characters are all at classic/peak regular levels. They have prep time but of course don't know how much.
They are not allowed to seek help and must face this alone e.g. they can't just run off to Dr. Strange for protection.
Otherwise they can act in any way within the limits of their own respective powers, skills, resources, and knowledge.
Grudge is the movie version.
Who can survive THE GRUDGE????????

3) Wolverine
4) Superman
5) Professor X
6) Magneto
7) Reed Richards
8) Dr. Doom
