A possible spin from "i do not like humans"

Leona Helmsley's dog will continue to live an opulent life, and then be buried alongside her in a mausoleum. But two of Helmsley's grandchildren got nothing from the late luxury hotelier and real estate billionaire's estate.

it's just a dog erm what will she buy with it. dog chow ?

inimalist
it's her money, she really doesn't owe it to her grandkids...

I'm going to go against my typical opinion on personal rights, and make the statement that such a thing should be illegal.

Leave your money to relatives or to groups that mirror your passions in life, but it should be illegal for a person to leave their estates to an animal.

It simply isn't realistic.

I agree and if you want to make sure your dog is fine give it to somebody under the condition that they take care of your dog.

As for the grandkids not getting anything, should have been better grandkids then.

If you post a story, you really should read it first, idiot.

Anyhow, Schector is right, "the bright side, she's dead". Of the billions of dollars she's worth, she leaves very little to her family (which is fine in of itself) but leaves 12 million to a dog? Utterly rediculous.

Venomous Yoshi
Yes, it is very ridiculous.

Alyona Ivanovna reborn!

You shouldn't be able to leave things to a dog, but who really cares about the grandchildren?

Well, I think if she explains the specifics of the terms in her will and pays for the execution of that plan that should be absolutely alright. She is entitled to do with the money that she earned as she pleases.

Though I doubt I am actually on ignore. I think she just repeatedly pokes her eyes when she reads my posts. Otherwise I have to give her some respect for figuring out how to ignore someone.

The dog was white. Was the dog previously black? Is that why you have a problem with this?
