Event Horizon and 40K?

I was wondering, does anyone think that the film Event Horizon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Event_Horizon_%28film%29) could fit into the Warhammer 40,000 universe?

The dimension of what is described as pure evil and chaos would point to yes. Everyone being assaulted by all kinds of horrors and such also seems to be fitting for 40k as well. So all signs point to yes.
