if adam has full knowledge of the gems,he could just use the time gem to go back it time to when she more vulnerable

Wanda remade the 616 Universe in its entirety.

Wanda seemed immortal and virtually invulnerable.

Wanda was collapsing the Omniverse subconsciously with her chaos wave.

But the IG makes you God below the LT.

Warlock takes this.He has even wrestled the IG, tough an incomplete one, from Magus.He's one of the most fitted to wield that artifact, possibly second only to Thanos.He'll just remove Wanda's powers, make her mortal and kill her.
