Sentry stalemated him, so I see no
reason why supes wouldn't.

A couple things about the Sentry/Genis comment:
-Both Sentry and Genis were holding back.
-On top of holding back, Genis was also distracted tuning his cosmic awareness, as well as looking out for Cap's safety.
-They were SHREDDING entire planet (HOLDING BACK).
-Sentry lost. If anything, Genis was at a disadvantage with the other thigns i mentioned in the 2nd point i made, and Sentry was the one aching in pain at the end of the fight.

Oh, and Sentry is FAR superior to Superman in pretty much every way.

So no holding back for Superman or GENIS in this fight??? Well, then Genis just fries Superman along with whatever planet theyre fighting on.

superman survives exploding planets without issue,superman has destroyed a planet while fighting under a red sun against another person so please stop the bullshit.

When has Superman ever withstood blasts like that of Genis' that can completely SHRED multiple planets in the span of one quick fight, while HOLDING BACK. If Genis stopped holding back, Superman would have no chance. Genis doesnt even need to stop holding back to beat Supes, Genis is just on a whole nother level above him.

Or he could just shoot him with some red solar energy, screw with his molecules, drain all of supes' (photonic) energy right out of him, etc. Hell, Supes' heat vision would probably be like dinner to Genis.

Superman varies in power, the brighter the star the more powerful he becomes, so in essence he could beat either one of these guys under optimal conditions... Imagine if he was as evil or insidious as Mephisto, or Thanos.

What Pantheon does Genis come from?? Anyone have any info on him? Superman as stated by Imperiex Prime himself is an anomaly in the universe. Don't look like that would help him much here..

Superman has absorbed enough energy that harms him to destroy 2/5 the galaxy,regularly survives supernovas and the like,genis gets speedblitzed and ripped in half by someone whos far superior to sentry in strength durability and speed,so let me know when genis and sentry start destroying solar systems and then maybe they might start to be able to put down a all out superman.

His own speed would be sufficient enough to counter Superman's. Also Genis has a little nice skill called cosmic awareness, he should be able to recognize superman's actions before it happens

I kind of disagree with sentry being >>>>> superman but I do think that he is >>superman. By the way in that sentry vs genis fight, both was holding back, well it was actually said that only sentry was holding back, didnt see that same comment made for genis.

When has superman fought and destroyed a planet. Scans would help because to my knowledge I have never seen superman destroy anything the size of a mountain while in combat. How in the hell is he going to struggle and need help to move a moon but he can destroy a planet with punches,

This isnt even a fight. Saying Superman can beat this version of Genis is basically the same thing as saying Superman can take down Thanos. It's not even fathomable. I mean, Genis was shown clearly more powerful than Zemo, someone who repetitively owned the Grandmaster, whose a peer of Thanos in power and formidability. Genis also beat Sentry, someone who went toe-to-toe with the Collective who owned Binary, a character around Superman's level, in 2 pages. And in the Sentry/Genis fight, both were holding back, and they shredded multiple planets to pieces. Genis was also called all-powerful, and in every possible future except 1, was seen destroying the universe under his own power. And just to put the nail in the coffin in this debate, Radioactive Man, who has gone toe-to-toe with Thor and knows exactly what Thor (whose Superman's peer) is capable of, said he cant begin to comprehend Genis' level of power.
