Cap vs JLA

If Cap where to get sent to the DCU and joined the JLA how long would it take for the other heros to recognize his leadership abilties and vote to demote supes and put him in charge instead. Lets assume he gets a DC power boost lets say to Slade levels.

Thoughts?

I would think at least a member or two would call into question the leadership abilities of a corpse...

They put Cap in charge of their joint operation in JLA/Avengers right from the get-go. It was Superman who suggested it, as I recall.

Batman would eventually bail after a week or so as Cap took over. Cap wouldnt mean to be like that, but he cant help it.

I could see them getting into a real scrap if Cap where to join the JLA.
