Operation: Hazmat Team Alpha

What was supposed to be just another routine mission turned into a hellish fight for survival for Hazmat Team Delta. Sent to "clean up" a quaranteened area, they learned that whatever had broken out in the city was no normal virus. At first the residents that had become infected were just slow moving and showed little thought. After a large amount of enemy casualties they started to change. After the mutations all contact was lost with the inner city. The only option left was to call in Hazmt Alpha (This is were you come in). With next to no information on the enemy inhabitants, will you be able to find Delta and make it out alive?

Enemies:
Basic zombies through Re-dead

1.) Basic zombies barely think and are a lot slower then any other forms. They are easy to take down alone and will cause little threat if fought unarmed. They are quite formidable if fought in large groups.

2.) "Runners" are basic zombies that have been around long enough to loosen up the rigormortis that had set in upon their deaths. Very dangerous even when fought alone.

3.) Smart zombies show much higher intelligence and have even been known to use tactics against the militarty sent to combat them. Thought not capable of firing a gun they can still use hand-held weapons.

4.) "Sharps" are zombies that have mutations in their mouths to help piece through kevlar and other such armors worn by solider. Other adaptions have been seen on these creatures but none of them were universaly grown. (Not many others have it)

5.) Strong arms (Brutes) are zombies that sacrificed the higher intelligence to become far superior in strength to any other zombies. They simply take orders from the smart zombies and have even been seen following the orders that soldiers were screaming to their teams.

6.) Armored zombies have sacrificed either their intelligence or mutations to grow a thick armor across their bodies. Almost impervious to bullets, they can only be taken down by anti-personnel rounds.

7.) "Amalgamtors" are what are to be the smartest form and also the weakest form of zombie. Showing very high though patterns (possibly even surpassing the average human) and very low strength, have made these a higher priority over any of the zombies. They are "Shoot on sight."

8.) Re-dead or brain bugs as the marines have come to call them, have only been seen on two occation and are the only zombie that has been ordered to be captured alive. It is believed to control the zombies.

Basic Background: Rand was raised by good people.
At the age of 14 he joined a program to help him suceed in what he wanted to do wich is presicley what he does now.
Most people say you need to pass school with flying colors to become succesful as you want. Rand just got lucky.
Appearance: Hes 5'10" broad shouldered. He doesnt work out. But none the less very strong.
Sort of blackish hair its some what longer then intended. He has a Italian mustache and loves Camoflague
Personality: Rand is probably the most easiest person to get along with. He likes confidence but when people get to cocky he wont hesitate to hint it or let them know.

Personality: Vibrant but sensible. He is proud to be gay and is somewhat of a flirt. He values his friends just as much as he does his own life.

Gear: Computer hacking equipment. Standard uniform with the exception of his self made computer head gear. It was made to connect with his hacking equipment so he could see what needs to be seen.

MY CHARACTER COULD TAKE THREE BRUTES AT ONCE, EASY. HIS CYBERNETIC HAND CAN FIRE LASERS THAT CAN KILL ANYTHING THEY TOUCH. ALSO, HIS SKIN IS MADE OUT OF METAL, AND HE CAN LIFT UP FIVE TONS WITH ONE ARM.

The brutes can survive Anti Aircraft fire at point blank.

She eventually became EMT-P certified and entered special operations through the Special Operations Combat Medic course.
Detailed: She was born in San Francisco to a family of doctors, who immigrated from China to America, hence her decision to delve into the medical fields.

Remeber, we have NEVER been in combat like this so I don't want your character acting all non-chalant.

I've noticed in most of your character's have a kind of calm when fighting.

Was that a hidden statement that I am not good at living into a RP?

No, it was just saying that you always give confidense to the other RP'ers and that would kill the mood. (In the lab) Once we are out of the labs though you can go nuts if you want.

You said 'Most' of my characters. Have you seen more than one of my characters in actual combat in any situation like this?

Also, my other character was a post-terrorist that had a leader who worked with biochemical experiments and similar things. She had worked for a long time and she was good at what she did. A very trained soldier who had seen most things.

Also, you met her a while after the actual event. You do not know if she freaked out totaly when all this occured and then got herself together.

If you are not talking about survival and zombie RPs, why do you bring it up in the first place?

If you doubt that I will not do good then just say so and I will stay away from the RP thread until the actual thing has started and all, to not mess up with your plan and idea of how things will progress.

We've done a big whopping nothing while waiting for the last member of Delta to arrive. Pretty much we are all in a large room by the elevator except for me.

I am considering ending it. It's not going as well as you think. Only a minority of the people who signed up are even RP'ing. In my book that's called limping the RP.

We could save it if more then 3/8 of Delta actually did something. then we could get Alpha in there and then people might actually like it

Awww... That's sad. But I was trying to make it work. I couldn't do anything because there was no need for the Alpha team.
