"Charlie team, you will be going into the labs to figure out what happened and neutralize the leak." The small squad of Hazmat recruits and senior officers were all but ready to turn back. They had been suited up for hours and were moments away from their descent. "So, Chew.. what are we doing down there?" The LT of Charlie team was very optimistic. "We are gunna see if we can save some soldiers." The remaining six squad mates all saluted each other as the elevator started to go down. "Hell yeah, once I get out of here I am settling down with a hot meal, cold beer, and a soft woman!" He was hit from behind by the only female member and they both laughed. Now the elevator had gone down to the bottom of the shaft and they walked out into an empty room. "Where is everyone?" The LT stepped out and viewed the area and noticed to sick looking security guards. They both saw them and started to run off where they both eventually fell over and quit moving. "What the..." A freight elevator had blood sloched all over the platform and a bloody handprint was firmly stamped over the up button. The whole squad moved to the elevator and started to go down. Once at the bottom what seemed to be a person latched onto one of the privates and tore his mask off and taking a chuck out of his neck. "Get it off, get it off!!" Two shots rang out and the creature fell over dead. "He's dead.." The captain said, nealed over the troops body. "Keep moving to the objective!" "We can't just leav-" "Stow it and keep moving!!" All of the squad moved into a large room labled "Generator room" They all set up a peremeter and started to fire at unknown targets. The Team leader had moved back into a small room where the generator actually was and had a high grade det pack ready. Intense gun fire could be heard and then a quant silence that sent a chill down his spine. The bomb beeped and was armed. A loud beating came from the direction of the door and the LT put the gun onto his face plate and pulled the trigger.

((This is just a starter for how things got to be the way they are.))

LT. Jacob was just standing at the elevator with his helmet laying beside him. Millions of thoughts of old missions and contagions that he had come into contact with, flew threw his head. He thought that this mission would be just like all of the rest, go in, clean up, get out. Just as he broke from his train of thought, one of his oldest friends on Delta team sauntered up behind him.

'Sparks' "Hey, Book, we have some newbies coming in with us on this mission."

Jacob. "Heh.. this should be a fun mission filled with whining like, 'this isn't like the brosure stated.' or, 'This is boring, when do we go home and eat?'"

'Sparks' "Hah.. it's not that bad, plus some of the new girls are hott."

Jacob. "Is that ALL you ever think about?"

'Sparks' "Basically."

They both began to laugh, but quieted down as they heard more members of Delta approuching.

((Mark which team you are in and remember that only Delta team goes down right now. Alpha comes in to save us.))

Matroshka
Rand yawned. " so what in the hell are guys talking about" Rand got almost no scleep the night before. He didnt mind though he liked the excitment of tryin to stay awake. He looked at them " hmmm yes a very shiney elevator now isnt it Lt. ?" Rand smiled " well here we go cleaning up the messes of idiots eh ?" He looked at his pistol " well whos ganna complain we loaded, DELTA TEAM BOYS HOOO RAA !!!" He smiled then yawned agian

Red Spartan
(Don't forget to mark your team)
Sparks looked over at the new comer. "Well if it isn't one of the newbies already." Jacob just chuckled and replied to them both. "He was on our last mission, he's a demolitions expert I believe." The elvator shook a little bit and Jacob nearly removed his sidearm. Something was wrong with this mission but Lt Book just couldn't seem to plant his finger on the cause.

Matroshka
" thanks for noticing me and yes i can blow up anything thta needs to be destroyed and especially an elevator." He took out his clip " o jeez mising one bullet" He slipped the last bullet in there. and shoved the clip in. Then he put it away. " pistols always the handyest " He smiled.

Red Spartan
(Ok let's not get too deep into chit-chat, only like two more posts then we need to lay off for a while.)

Jacob took a seat at a small table next to a few vending machines and proceeded to inspect his bio-armor. "Nothing like these marvels of military tech. Bullet proof, contagion proof, hell they're evem idiot proof." He laughed and then went back to check the various gas levels in the suit and re-reading the mission data that Charlie team left at the elevator room before contact was lost. "All they said was that one of their men was compromised and that their sigals were not going to senf much more information."

Matroshka
Rand walked around " well isnt that helpful information." He thought about it. Why would this happen. Seems fishy and Rand didnt like it but he figured it wouldnt be much of a problem.

SpadeKing
"When the hell do we get the big guns?"

The huge soldier walked in nodding is disapproval at his pistol. He wanted the biggest gun and most intimadating gun he could find and he figured it would match him. He immediatly went to attention to both the soldiers, something he does automaticallly since the army.

"Sorry sir! didn't see you there sir! just looking for my squad"

Matroshka
Rand turned around and looked at him. He never really noticed this person before. He nodded " why would you need big guns for a simple clean up anyway ? side arms are better for the job i think" He said confidently. Not trying to piss him off but The Armory is only open when given permission. He sat in a chair and relaxed " waiting for the rest of Delta team. We are Delta"

android217
Al fired three rounds into the paper target. One shot in the chest, one in the throat, and one into the head.
"Nice shot," Another soldier said next to him. Al hung his head, and sighed. He lifted his 9mm up to the soldier's face.
"Hey, can you tell me if my barrel is clean?" Al chuckled.

"Looks clear from here Al," It was Preston, his best friend from high school." You think we will have to go in after Delta Squad?"
"Nah, Delta can handle themselves. And besides, they got Marlon Summers. That guy is huge," Al replied, loading another clip into his gun." But I've got my hazmat suit ready, just in case."

Red Spartan
Jacob looked up at the intimidatingly large soldier and chuckled. "If you're a Delta then welcome abourd and if you're a Alpha.. then get a team transfer." He said with a quick laugh before making the final adjustments on his suit and laying the helmet back onto the table, along with his pistol. "Really for a clean and sweep we don't even need pistols.. it's just to make sure no infected make it out without a DeCon."

Advent
(I'm operating under the assumption that we don't know each other formally, so...)

As per requested of the Delta squad, they were to meet by the elevator equipped fully in their appropriate Hazmat suits. "This outfit may be 'advanced', but it certainly is not form-fitting", Rachel thought to herself as she was on the advent of meeting the rest of her unit.

The area certainly seemed bland to her: a few machines, tables, and the like, and of course, the elevator, which would apparently be their primary means of transportation to where their quarantine mission would take place. It seemed rather straightforward and relatively simple from what she knew thus far.

Rachel's footsteps made light sounds in the immediate section as she arrived at the meeting point. A portion of the team had already been there. A darker skinned man, who seemed to be fairly muscular. Another with caliginous hair and facial hair. In addition to two others, one being the evident commander of the group, given one of the group stood at attention upon seeing him. All of the individuals seemed to be a few years younger than Rachel herself.

Paying no attention to the details of age, however, and with her helmet being held under her arm, she gave a prompt salute, stating "Corporal Rachel Wu, sir" in an attempt to inform him who she was exactly. After easing her position, Rachel stood there awaiting any further interaction.

Red Spartan
"Ah, good to see you Corporal. I was wondering when my second in command was going to arrive." Jacob stood and quickly returned the salute. "I'm sure you've already gone over the plan and how to execute it (Plan never makes it to step two)." After studying her features for a moment he was satisfied with her muscular build and height. He thought to himself. "Not many specialists are that small but hey, I'm in a hazmat.. none of us are normal."

OOC: so what should i do if im on he alpha team???

((Keep ALL OOC in the discussion please.))

Arcade Fire
Gotham Gage, brigadier general of Alpha, stood outside of the elevator. Delta had gone down not too long ago, but he wasn't eager to go down himself. He had seen enough blood for a while, though more of it would be inevitable. He knew it.

There weren't many others with him other than a few soldiers. The rest had yet to introduce themselves, but it wasn't their fault that he was monotonous, reclusive, cold, and in some ways, a machine.

He was adjusting nerve connections on his cybernetic limb. It was painful, the slightest touch burning when it was attached to the wires of his hand. He ignored the pain. After finishing the reattachment of the last nerve, Gotham pulled over the silver plate, lined with black, over the back of his hand. Then, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his notched glove and stretched it over his hand, strapping it closed.

Matroshka
"Lt. Jacob " Rand said. He looked around. " When is our leave sapose to be ? i dont remember the time sir" He said. He looked at the time. He was getting bored now. He started to fittle with his pistol some more. He looked at all the new faces. So the clean mission is ganna be a bore just awsome. He thought to himself

SpadeKing
"With all do respect sir"

He replied to the two still at attention.

"I rather make sure not a single molecule is left of the dead... infectious bodies, sir!"

He set himself at ease and looked at the weapon in disbeleif once again. studying seeing if there was atleast a little something extra and then let out a sigh.

"Atleast it gets the job done. Sorry ma'm!"

He re-assumed attention at the sight of another higher ranking and then looked at his suit balled up completly in his left hand for the moment and unrolled it showing a pretty small suit.

"Just a question... does this stretch?"

Matroshka
He looked at him. He shook his head. Why is he so worried . Rand thought to himself. Pistols are good enough especially mine with its .45 Cal attachment. He smiled. No one would expect this from a Beretta. He took out a silencer " heh my favorite" He put it on and tucked his pistol away. He wasnt worried. HE sure it wont be to hard. Training was hard for him and so he is well prepared and trained.

Red Spartan
"To answer your question, we are planning to leave as soon as the last two members of Delta team makes there way to this location, and as for yours, well the suit stretches to some point. Then all you have to worry about is putting on the armor (You did see the pic right? They are made of metal)." By this time, Jacob had grown accustomed to the cramped conditions of his suit and could manuver in it with ease. "Once we are down below, we will split up. Corporal Wu, will be the seond in command. Anyone that I say is in her unit will follow her orders until I say other wise."

SpadeKing
"They don't have any extra sizes do they? Well I'll see what I can do just don't leave without me."

The suit was close but Marlon has been working out alot more seeing as he has been waiting for something like this and he got a little bit bigger since which isn't turning out the way he thought it would be.

Matroshka
"Of course sir" Rand had no problem following a womens orders. He starts to remember the day when somone in training somone talking shit to a girl. He couldnt remember her name but he remembers when she kicked his ass in hand to hand combat. He didnt pass the training. In fact no one knows what became of him.

Red Spartan
Jacob walked over to a vending machine and placed a dollar into the indicated slot. Once the machine had procurred his money, he place in his order for a twenty ounce mountain dew. Beofre the drink came out of the machine he hit to more buttons in a specific order and out popped another drink. "Still got it." Now with two drinks he took one and placed it on the table for anyone who wanted it. After abandoning the second drink at one of the tables, Jacob quickly walked away from the other members of Delta to a small secluded area, where he removed the cap and took a long drink. "This is going to be one hell of a clean up.. this place honey-combs for miles.. best not to tell the newbies."

Matroshka
Rand raised an eyebrow " im right here and i can hear you. Im not nervous at all" he smiled

After the Lieutenant had finished speaking in regards to their current plan during this situation, she gave a punctual reply, "Yes, I've reviewed them thoroughly sir". Rachel paused for a moment, to set her helmet down on the nearest table as it was already becoming cumbersome to hold at her side. "It doesn't seem as if there should be too much trouble during this task", she said.

Obviously, if there were any types of injures, her extensive medical knowledge would be able to be put to good use. But, given the nature of the briefing, it wouldn't seem as if there would be too many in need of immediate treatment.

Upon finishing her sentence, she realized another member of the squad - Marlon Summers, a somewhat young, yet certainly able looking Private First Class - had once again stood at attention, this time towards Rachel herself. In a responsive manner, she gave him a formal salute and a nod of approval.

The atmosphere seemed relatively calm for the time being, there was hardly any activity. Rachel took a brief moment to meditate upon the current situation. "Everything seems to be in order, except of cour--", her train of thought interrupted by a inquiry posed by another member of the group. "Yes, the last couple still needs to arrive", she said to herself as her thoughts were finished by the Lieutenant himself.

After hearing the rest of Jacob's words, she shook her head in an up and down motion to signify that she acknowledged Lieutenant Book's orders.

Red Spartan
Lt. Jacob clicked his comm link to a private channel and to everyone else unknowing he started to play a cd, to entertain himself. Not wanting anyone to see that he was actually worried about what could be down there he kept an optomistic express on his face and an ubeat attitude. After waiting long enough, Jacob went over to the table that he had set his helet down on and secured it on to the air sealing apparatus of the suit. A corresponding hiss was all that was heard and then the a green light came on, on the torso of the suit to show that it was 100% operational.

Matroshka
Rand waited. He was getting impatient. He didnt know what was taking the other two so long but he was sure they would be in big trouble once they get here. Unless Rand was to early. He looked at Jacob getting all ready. Rand followed what he did exactly. The torso on Rand's suit came on at 100% also "phew ^_^" He thought to himself. At least it wasnt broken.

Wild-Cherry
" Shit. "

Nikolette muttered as she pressed on her brake at a red light. She looked down at her watch and sighed annoyedly. Her schedule had been greatly upset by an accident. She had stopped her car to help, and in that lost about an hour of her time. Originally planning to be 20 minutes early, she was closing in on 30 minutes late. Punctuality was something she highly valued about herself. As the light changed she floored it, her tires squealing on the asphalt.
As was a good first impression.
As Nikolette veered a left into the parking lot, she stopped beside a guard house, and presented her ID, and proceeded on. A little ways off she was stopped, and told to head inside. Her car would be taken from there. As she stepped out of the black Miata, Nikolette walked briskly inside. She stopped at a changing station to pull on her Hazmat suit - a clumsy affair - And then headed off toward the meeting space. her cotton under armor felt oddly cool inside the suit, causing a chill to run up her spine.

A soft vibration in her pocket made Nikolette a bit startled, and she reached into her pocket and pulled out her NAVY authorized pager. A few words flashed across it, skimming just slowly enough for her to read.

OMW. Flight was fine. Will be a little late. - Derek.
Crazy night last night.

Nikolette rolled her eyes at the last bit, and put the pager away. Derek had always been that way. Even so, a smile cracked over her lips. For years she and Derek Shark had trained together, and for the first time they were assigned on a mission together. Things were always more entertaining with him around.

Nikolette stepped into an elevator, and the nerves hit her.
here I go...
As the doors slid opened a few floors later, Nikolette stepped out and looked around at her new team. After a quick smile toward one of the young women on the team, she rendered a crisp salute and faced the man she knew would be leading them. Lt. Book.
He was a strong looking young man, and had a clean cut appearance.

Rendering a crisp salute, she adressed him.

" Sir, Petty Officer First Class Nikolette Frost reporting in for duty. "

holding the salute she continued.

" I have been informed to tell you that another teammate to expect, Sergeant Derek Shark's flight has landed and he should be here shortly. "

She cut the salute after receiving acknowledgment, and tried to follow the others in checking her suit.

Rand smiled put on the saftey to his gun. He took out his portable cleaning kit. He sat on a table and Rand took apart his gun. He was wiping the nasty crap out of the gun. He made it shiney. He put the gun properly back together and smiled. He looked on the handle where it said Rand it was orange. On the barrel on the bottom it said. "love your GF Camille" He loves her and his pistol.

Red Spartan
"At ease. No need for formalities. After a few days down there with the guys, you'll think of us as a big family. Oh and thank you on the information on the mssing solider." Jacob quickly returned the saalute and started to do a diagnostic on the map of the base. It spread far larger then any clean-up had ever, in the history of the hazmat operation. A small light started to blink in the lower left corner of his visor and he used a voice activation to access the message.

"LT. Book, 137D. Hazmat."

A small read-out appeared on his visor and words could be seen but no read. Only the person accessing the message could truly read it.

Matroshka
Rand was thinking of an old song. Thinking to an old song " sombody told me you had a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend i dated last year in feburary !" He loved that song. But he wasnt sure when hed be able to show the Lt. How well he can do. He knew proving himself would be the best part. He liked to be liked. He loved the sence of accomplishment when you save or help somone and they say thankyou.

Arcade Fire
Gotham took out his pistol and started to examine it. A simple weapon, no complex engineering, no modifications. That wasn't something he was partial to.

He walked over to Lieutenant Jacob and glanced at the light on his visor. "What information are you accessing?" he asked, putting away his pistol. He'd refrained from saluting, since the man himself had said that they would all be one family. A family? It seemed like a joke to Gotham.

Matroshka
Rand saw Gotham walk over to Lt. He figured he would to. He was acually saying what Rand wanted to know. Perfect timing.

Red Spartan
"Well.. we Deltas are a family. I've never worked with the Alphas before, so I hope you guys are some of the best." Jacob was reading the message at the same time as he spoke. His eyes went from right to left but would seem like left to right. The expression on his face turned grim as he scanned over the words.

Charlie ZidRep

No Survivors Reported.

One member down and in critical condition.

Location-Generator room A.

Time Sent-16 hours ago.

SpadeKing
"Alright all geared up!"

Marlon came in with his arms out with his suit own.

"Saw this suit just hanging around so I figured I would just borrow it for now."

He was completly ready for war. He even wore a headband even thought no one would see it inside his helmet but, He just liked the comfortable feeling of it. He turned back to the Lt. giving off another salute.

"If thats ok with you sir!"

He stopped and looked to see what was going on at the moment.

Arcade Fire
"What's going on with Charlie? What are you reading?" Gotham asked again.

C. C. Cowgirl
"Alright, boys and girls! The fine lady of the squad has arrived"

Terese smiled as she walked into the room, watching all the others in the room. She walked with elegance and a calm voice, straight trough the room. She stopped in the middle to fight of an itch though, scratching herself on the butt. She had a long car-ride here and she had not had time to stop at any place for long. She did stop for a burger though and as the thought crossed her mind, she randomly gave out a burp.

She got the chills, considering that was not very ladylike at all. Well she thought that hopefully no one noticed either of her actions, as she walked up to a wall and leaned against it.

Matroshka
"16 hours huh. Shit if we got notice of there distress call earlier maybe there would be more than 1 survivor that may die anyway" Rand couldnt imagine whats there " well shit if they died who to say we will live ? i mean wouldnt it be best to...." He stoped. He didnt want to get yelled at for speaking his mind. Rand heard Terese and he smiled " heh hope shes on our team " He smiled

LT. Book looked up at Gotham. "You don't do this too much do you? That was a ZidRep. It's just a report. They went out of radio range a few hours ago, we won't hear them until we are down there." He looked back at the location of the ZidRep and knew that, that is where he unit would be heading first.

SpadeKing
"What about Charlie?"

The though was cut off short from the entrance of another member of the hazmat team. He was able to hold in a laugh after her entrance trying to act strictly proffesional and ready for war by keeping a straight face.

"So, um, Ms... you're on Delta?"

Matroshka
Rand paised back and forth " Lt. How can you cope with such bordom dont you wanna get right in there sir ?" He said hoping not to sound to strange =P

SpadeKing
"1 survivor? Just a sweep up huh? so he must have gotten trigger happy or something. Can I go get a rocket launcher now?"

He really didn't have problems with pistols he was just use to always having a larger weapon with him at all times. He considered it to be imtimadating and that has always been his style, no one wants to fight you if they're scared.

Red Spartan
((We can't know the situation like that. They cut out sixteen hours ago when the captain last logged.))

"What do you mean one survivor? The ZidRep they sent shows all members but one are still able to make it out." Jacob looked over the data report and mission specs. and then said once again. "Yep, there is deffinately more then one survivor down there." Finally noticing that he was so eager he finally let the news out. "Why are you so eager to go down to a clean-up job that will last three entire weeks?"

Matroshka
Rand laughed " you serious you choose a rocket launcher ?" Rand felt kinda small since his shotgun doesnt have the range or power of a rocket launcher but his gun was a hell of alot faster. He looked at the Lt. " well im bored now but tommrow i may be regreting it im sure"

Arcade Fire
"No, I haven't done this before. My exploits are much more... brutal. I'm less of a soldier, more of a warrior. It's not something I'm proud of." He knew that something else was going on, and that it wasn't just an average status report. He looked around for his squad mates, the ones that would come with him, should he descend into the base. The girl who had just made her entry wasn't apart of his team, but she seemed to be one of the more laid-back members. The other ones deserved closer observations, but Gotham didn't want to pry. Their pasts could be just as bloody as his.

Advent
Moments passed before the quarter by the elevator where the Delta squad was patiently awaiting began to become more animated. Rachel first took notice that yet another comrade arrived. A seemingly short, yet well framed and alluring woman. She introduced herself as Nikolette Frost and payed her respects to the Lieutenant. "About time another girl arrived...", Rachel thought to herself. Nikolette's entrance was somewhat unpunctual, and even then, she informed Lieutenant Book that another member would also be arriving in due time.

"I do hope he comes soon", Rachel stated. Paying no further mind to that however, as another, older man came waltzing towards their general area. He was apparently an Alpha, although Rachel at first believed he was actually Sergeant Shark. He posed a question about the information Jacob had been receiving via his communications visor.

Rachel made sure to pay close attention to the details of what the Lieutenant was speaking about. Her ears pulled back almost instinctively as she listened to Jacob read the message.

The fact that one member of the Charlie team was "in critical condition" raised some suspicions, but these were suppressed by the fact that the majority of the team was alive and without further injuries.

If it was medical assistance the man who was injured needed, then Rachel would be able to take a look at him (assuming the Charlie team doesn't have a medic). Her mind drifted onto other news when one of the teammates requested permission to get a rocket launcher. Rachel laughed at that thought of that, "A rocket launcher? Isn't that a little bit extreme for just about...any assignment like this?", she asked in jest.

SpadeKing
"I just want to shoot something sir! A rocket wouldn't be so bad, what if the rest were trapped somewhere we could blow the place open if its light enough? or quickly dissect something."

He seemed like he was beginning to lose it as he constantly whined. He started thinking and hopefully when he asked this no one got any ideas of him joining the squad for any reasons for it.

"So is this like some freaky experiment thing like um... i don't know area 51 or whatnot?"

He used finger motions to try and seem like he didn't beleive a bit about it the thing or not, though he was hoping for something just like it.

Matroshka
" Yea shoot at the crushed up can and kill us all " He was GLAD it was just pistols at this point " well if anyone cares im probably Delta teams only demolitionist. I can create explosives, diffuse them and set them off , my favorite." He smiled " blow up anything at " He shook his head " anyway guys my name is Rand but you can call me Faraleth "

Red Spartan
Jacob had become frustrated and decided to walk away from all of the other members of the squad. He had never done well when in a room with a lot of people, especially when most were questioning him about things he didn't know. Making sure he grabbed his weapon, he made his way into the hall and leaned against a door down the hall a bit. "So many new guys this time around..."

Matroshka
Rand saw the look on the Lt.'s face. He didnt bother to find out. He looked around. He took a soda can. He pulled out some small vial and mixed them in the can and sealed it with a tape and put it into his pouch. " Now ive got myself hand made phospherous." He set it away and made sure the can would not give out. He knew the only way to live if it went on him was to ditch the suit ASAP. Wich he could do.

SpadeKing
"Well there goes the need for a rocket."

Marlon pulled out the pistol and checked out the bullets in the clip. Other than training this would be the first time ever he had to fire with a pistol in combat and with only 7 shot per clip the mission wasn't really sounding hard now. Actually he was starting to wish He stayed to get the rest of his army stripes instead of looking to see if aliens are real.

Arcade Fire
Gotham also walked away, standing in a corner. He continued to work on his hand, tightening bolts, stabilizing gears, and rearranging transistors. The heavy suit was interfering, his real hand not being able to modify his robotic hand with the precision he was used to. He didn't really focus on this, though; he could only think of Charlie squad. Delta squad would have to go down soon, and he knew that this wasn't an average mission. These were highly trained people. No average accident could critically injure them.

Advent
Rachel still stood in her same position, almost unwavering. As she slightly pivoted her head back so as to keep her hair in its typical manner, she heard Marlon asking questions about the assignment, it almost seemed as if this Private had been watching too many X-Files re-runs.

She changed her attention as another member of the squad spoke up and revealed his name in an introductory fashion. He said that he was a demolitions expert. It was the man who had a foreign styled mustached. "Faraleth, huh?", she said in a bland tone. Just as she had finished speaking, she noticed the Lieutenant walking away from the group, she wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling, she almost asked, but just as her mouth was open, before any words came out, she determined it would be best not to ask as he seemed somewhat fluttered.

The apparent Alpha team member seemed to also be retreating from the group, but he was fiddeling with his hand. For what reasons, Rachel wasn't exactly sure.

As she awaited any more exchange of words, she meditated to herself and simply examined the surroundings further.

Matroshka
Rand walked over to Rachel " yup thats what i like to be called "He figured he would around and meet everyone. " So Rachel i over heard your name once. You holding up ok with all this waiting stuff ?"

"So, um, Ms... you're on Delta?"

Terese smiled and shook her head to the man.

"I am Private Terese Rico, 21, at your service! Post-Circus artist and I am the sniper of the group. I am unfortunatly for you an asset to the lucky Alpha team and ready for action anytime soon! This is my first mission and I am looking forward to work with you all!"

She assumed the man was a delta, since his question pretty much clarified it. Her voice as she spoke was enthusiastic. She could not help it, as she finaly would get to enter the field. She did not enjoy the thought about shooting someone, but at least now her training did not feel like it was all for nothing.

At this point there was not much to do around here. All she could do was really wait and check the soldiers out, but professionaly to learn some and also as a woman of course. Most of the boys sure had the look.

Advent
While still observing the section, Rand approached her, which broke her concentration, but didn't necessarily throw her off guard. His inquiry was in regards to Rachel's current state of mind, in which she gave a slight nod indicating she was fine, and in a monotonous voice, she responded by saying "Yes, merely waiting is hardly something that could impinge me".

Of course, in her younger years, she would've been extremely impatient in this and most situations, but over the years as she got older, her attitude changed dramatically. "And yourself?", she asked.

SpadeKing
"Sniper? never could get into the waiting for a good shot thing. Hey, that still gets the job done though."

That was so far the only member of Alpha he seen. He started to wonder if there is an Alpha squad, charlie, and they are delta... where does Bravo come into this? Either that or too much video games for him.

"Ms. Rico I don't know why you're saying lucky Alpha we're the ones going in!"

He said proudly even though its just a simple sweep up mission to him now.

Al put on his hazmat suit and grabbed his m16. Even though he was part of alpha squad, he wanted to be there just in case. After entering the room were delta was, he found laid back against the wall, and waited. Preston had followed him there.

"What the hell are you doing?" Al asked Preston. Preston was a mechanic, and had no need to go into the labs.
"Here," Preston tossed him a plastic wrapped sandwich.
"You probably spit on it or somethin," Al muttered, eating the sandwich."Now get out of here."

Jacob seemed to be talking to himself but in reality, was talking on an encrypted channel. His voice seemed a little strained and an aura of doubt seemed to flout around his words. "What do you mean, 'No infected can leave?'" Another voice that seemed unemotional responded. "We can not afford a break-out even in a small suburban town such as this. Your orders are to neutralize any and all infected within the labs." Jacob retorted anrgrily to his superior. "Well then what am I supposed to tell me team!? I'm not exactly sure they came here to just kill everyone, they signed up to help people out by saving them." The cold voiced man just laughed. "Then don't tell them." The message cut out and Jacob made sure that no others were on the channel. "Well at least no one heard that...."

Matroshka
" this assignment is becoming to be a load of shit." Rand walked off. He was slightly mad at the fact that what if Delta team was in trouble. Would they have to wait 16 before any actions were made ? i mean JEEEZZZ. Rand was getting impatience. He started playing with a bullet from his gun.

Jacob's comm link flared and a message prejected throught the deserted hallway. A gruff voice came over the comm, it was Jacob's old squad leader. "Book, is that you?" Astonished, Jacob replied hastily. "Sarge, how the hell did you get this private channel?" The sarges voice seemed to be strained and weak. "Look there is time for explanation later, right now I am telling you not to go down into the labs. Let another team go down, do NOT put your team at ri-" The message cut out to static and then nothing. Thinking forf a minute, Jacob made up his mind that his team was going down there and nothing would stop them.

Simon was ready for action. He needed something to happen or he was going to explode. He had a feeling in his gut that something big was about to happen and he couldn't wait.

He was on his way to God only knows and saw some Delta members waiting at the elevator. He didn't know what to say to them because he was an Alpha member so he just said hi.

Matroshka
He barley heard the radio convo " great " He passed aroudn then got closer to Lt. " um sir so we continueing as planneD ?" He said eagerly.

Red Spartan
((Umm... how did you hear that? It was on a private Comm channel. I'm not even in the same room anymore. I was about six rooms away in the hall.))

-Trans-comm- "All Delta Hazmat, please report to the elevator leading down to the Lab. ETA till mission start is ten minutes. I repeat all Delta Hazmat, please report to the elevator. Make me proud boys. Over and Out."

Jacob took in a deep breath and secured his firearm in it's holster. Making his way back into the main recreation room and over towards the elevator. Once actually stepping onto the elevator, he turned around to face his squad. "All right Delta, form up! Once we are in the lab we will split the squad. Three under my command and three under Miss. Wu. When we are down there I want your safeties on and I only want you to fire when it is a last resort. Failure to do so will have you immediately sent topside." Jacob then stood in the elevator and waited for his team.

Al checked his 9mm. He had brought 4 clips, but probably only needed one. Al pulled a bullet out of one of the clips, and started twirling it though his fingers. After a minute of messing with the bullet, it slipped out of his fingers. He watched it fall to the ground, and bounce around. It landed on its back, and sat up straight.
"Well that has to be a bad sign," Al muttered as a chill went down his spine.

As Rachel was merely standing nonchalantly, almost as if her mind hadn't a single care in the world a brief sonant static sounded through her communications system, following almost instantaneously by a voice apparently informing them of their orders. It was Lieutanent Book. His instructions were simple and straight to the point and she listened attentively.

As soon as the transmission ended, Rachel immediately walked towards her destination: the elevator, where Jacob had already been anticipating the Delta squad. On her way, she made certain that the pistol she had received prior to her arrival was fastened tightly and on safety as per the Lieutenant's commands, all while passing the simple tables, vending machines, and other assorted tools of the dull room. Stepping onto the elevator platform, Rachel felt like a pool of utter cold calm simply awaiting and ready to begin their mission.

"I'm ready to roll, sir. I'll do my best and make sure my portion of the team does the same", she stated assuredly. This would be her first assignment with this group of individuals, so she unquestionably wanted all things to go according to plan. With her hands clasped behind her back in a formal position, she waited on the elevator that would provide as their means of conveyance to the areas below for the rest of the squad to arrive.

(Do we have our extra items already?)

Marlon began to mumble quietly about the safety. Now this is really starting to bore his brains out but, this was the right thing to do, safety first, no need going off and shooting your own allies by accident.

He lined up with the squad and stood at attention again and quickly moved into the elevator calmly. He knows if he does something dumb here, it would most likely be his first and last mistake with this team.

Red Spartan
((Yes))

"Alright, I will lay down the team statistics. Summers, Frost, and Shark, You are all with me! Everyone else is under the command of Corporal Wu! Anyone who has objections to this can shove them up there ass because what I say goes!" Jacob grinned from the inside of hsi mask and stood at attention waiting for the others.

Nikka's head shot up as she heard the fuzze transmission from Lt. Book. As he spoke, she eyed her destination. Another elevator. Soemthing about it forced a chill down her spine. This whole situation was a bit nerveracking. Sighing, she began to walk over. checking her clip, Nikka fished around in her suit to keep all things ready and accessable on the way over. She took a moment to look around as she stopped before the elevator. She felt a bit anxious, and cursed under her breath. Letting her eyes fall shut she nipped at her lower lip, and silently pleaded. If there was a time for telepathy to work....it was now.
God damnit Derek. Where are you?

At that moment, it semmed, her prayers were answered. The pager once more sprang to life, and Nikka fumbled around clumsily in her hazmat suit to console it. As she pulled it out she figered the screen gently, and read the message.

just outside the building. On my way up.

Nikka piped in.

" alright time to finally do this ! >=3 " Rand was ready to get started. But he didnt know who he was ganna be teamed with since Lt. Jacob took his choice. HE noticed the late person. " hm" He had no perceptionon how long they waited but he was sure ready to get going. Of course he remembered what Lt.Jacob said "why are you so eager to do a 3 week clean up job ?" He thought about it for a moment. " well better than banging my head agiasnt a wall in bordom". He thought

While waiting a small smirk came across Marlon's face, he still had two big weapons in his arsenal... other than his fist. he kept two electric charged nightsticks, so either way he get to beat something senselessly.

The idea excited him so much he began humming to the tune of an old song by the jackson five, 'blame it on the boogie.' Soon before he knew it he was singing it quietly through his com link.

"don't blame it on the sunshine, don't blame it on the moonlight, don't blame it on the good times, blame it on the boogie..."

He heard a little static and stopped embarassed.

"is my com link still on?"

Red Spartan
((Is that everyone?))

Jacob was ready to push the elevators main breaker and allow it to head down into the labs. A feeling of doubt crossed his mind, so to satiate it he did a pleliminary check on all of his troops. "Is everyone here!? If you are on the elevator and are ready to get to work then say 'Green light!'"

Red Spartan
((Tired of waiting for a reply.. so))

Jacob decided it was best to just start the mission so they could hurry up and get the job done faster. His armored finger slid across the sleek red button and slowly pressed it. Now the a small panel opened up and Jaco bstart to press varios buttons and flip switches up until a small breaker appeared. Pulling it out and then up made the elevator start to descend. With ALL the members of Delta on board, he had a feeling that the mission would not take the alloted three weeks. A feeling a calm passed his mind. It was good to start the mssion and feel like he was doing something.. anything to take his mind off the horrers that he had witnessed at earlier hazmat missions. "Let's kick some contaminated ass!" He began to laugh but stopped when he remembered the call he had recieved. In the depths of his MIND he thought to himself. "At least no one heard those orders.. and I can assure myself no one else will."

Soon after Rachel and the others had established their positions on the elevator, not wanting to waste a moment, Lieutenant Book had prepared to make their declination to the mission. Standing next to the Lieutenant, she watched silently as he fiddled with the controls using his hands and engaged the breaker. There was a quick, sharp whine as it activated and Rachel could almost feel the platform lowering.

After he finished speaking, "Sir", she said holding her reposeful voice as she nodded in concurrence, her radiant, smooth face would be almost expressionless in the light had she not had a slight smile on.

As she was there beside him, the alluring and attentive Corporal regarding Jacob with her typically calm and controlled demeanor. There was something reassuring about Lieutenant Book, a sense of command and, even more than that, of concern. To Rachel, he had a way of silently assuring all those around him that things would work out as they were supposed to.

Rachel turned her head from him to the steel elevator door directly in front of her. Her eyes were bright with readiness and determination. "Here we go...".

Arcade Fire
Gotham glanced up with his seemingly unnecessary work on his hand to watch Delta's descent into the depths of the facility. He had started to wonder what was waiting for them down there, the blood stains on the elevator giving him doubts. This mission was anything but routine, and Gotham knew it. Should Alpha have to follow them, it may lead both squads down Charlie's path, which had been rather mysterious. The absence of Delta had cut the company down significantly, and now only the members of Alpha- his crew- were there.

Simon walked up to his teammate, Gotham, who was looking as restless as he felt. "This may be a stupid question, considering the look on your face," he said, "But are you as ready as I am to get out into the field?"

Arcade Fire
Gotham looked up at the man. "That depends on what you mean by ready... I can kill what I have to. But I don't like to kill, though that's what I am. A killing machine, that's all I can be called. I'm sure you're not interested in that, though. Think you're ready?"

Ordained
"If I wasn't do you think I'd be hear right now," Simon asked. "You do know that we're teammates since we were both left here. So your Alpha rank is...?"

Arcade Fire
"Sometimes, situations are just illusions of doubt, denial of reality." he replied to the first comment. "I'm a Brigadier General, if rank matters to you now. What about you?"

Red Spartan
A loud crack sounded and the elevator stopped completely. Slight hissing could be heard and the pressure seemed to drop slightly. "Equalization..." The large metal door slid open slowly with a groan. Another loud crack made the door seal in the open position. An eerie silence was all that greeted him as he stepped off the large platform and into the large meeting hall. No one was too be seen, not even a trace of a body or survivor. "The virus must have killed most of everyone down here. We'll have to act faster. Everyone who is under my command, move up and take this slow. We don't know what mental state the survivors are in." Noticing the large freight elevator's plaque saying that the generator room was down stairs he told his team to form up and get onto the elevator. As he prepped it he noticed a pool of blood and bloody hand print on the freight elevator's panel. "Stay frosty people..."

"I'm just a private, so I guess that I have to show you some respect, huh? Ain't that a *****," Simon said not afraid to show that he was a pissed. He was already anxious and excited waiting for something to do but now he had to watch what he said because he was in the presence of a commanding officer.

"So if you have such a high rank, why haven't you been called to duty?"

Arcade Fire
"I was given my rank for reasons stated. I've killed a lot of people, I've been a soldier since I was a child. Your Hazmat team saw my skills and my experience, so they gave me my rank. Don't think it's above me, though. I just don't care about ranks or titles. You shouldn't care if I'm a higher rank than you, either, and it's apparent that you don't. That's good. We're both doing the same thing on this mission, and we're both trained soldiers. That's all that really matters to me." he explained, continuing his monotonous repairs.

"Well what the hell are you working on?" Simon didn't really care but he also didn't want to just be by himself doing nothing. He could really go for a hot guy right now. But unfortunately in this line of work those were a rarity.

Arcade Fire
"It's nothing important. Let's just say it keeps my mind busy, clear of.. other thoughts, and that it's a souvenir I got from Africa." He paused. "You must be bored if you're asking about it. We're going to get some action soon enough, maybe that will satiate you."

"Nope. Not until I'm actually shooting something."

"ok, now thats just f**king scary"

Marlon attempted wiping the blood to see if it was fresh. The print either barerly moved or it was already dried into the wall. He quickly put both hands on his pistol, covering the safety with his thumb ready to switch and fire at anytime.

Red Spartan
"Frost, Shark you two stay up top and cover our position. No one gets down this elevator as long as we are down there, not even Alpha or the rest of Delta." Jacob turned around and started to press various buttons and flip different switches until, like the first elevator, a breaker disengaged and became mobile. "Summers, you are with me. On the double." He stepped onto the elevator and removed his pistol. "We're going to figure out who is down there."

Matroshka
Rand walked up to Lt. Jacob " ive been waiting way to long sir." He said in a low tone " pleace consider joining with you and Spade" he said eagerly

Red Spartan
((He is Marlon Summers haha))

Jacob looked annoyed for a second but remembered that he acted the same way when he was a new recruit and decided to let him on. "Alright, check your gear and then get on board." He then turned around to the controls waiting for Summers to board.

Matroshka
" cool thankyou sir" Rand thought for sure he would be yelled at but he likedthe Lt. Seemed to know exactly what hes doing. Rand liked to have that comfort. He pulled out the can "sir hope you dont mind. I was board before so i made a phospherous grenade." He held it. He didnt know if it was a good idea to keep it.

SpadeKing
"yes sir!"

Marlon hesitated taking his first step then, he remembered he is here to shoot something and the way things looked he was gonna get the chance. Marlon quickly hopped aboard still waiting to switch the safety off and fire.

"I don't like this elevator"

Red Spartan
"Feelings mutual if you ask me... hope it holds." Jacob pulled the breaker back and then pushed it forward until a click was heard. After that the elevator made it's slow move downwards, towards the generator rooms. Once they were completely out of earshot from the rest of the team he clicked off his intercom and looked at the two. "This is Charlie's last reported position. That's why only a few of us are going, so that more people an get on the elevator."

Arcade Fire
Gotham stepped into the elevator, heavy and rusty, and waited for the remaining Alpha squad to join him.

Red Spartan
An old PA system on the wall crackled to life as it screeched out the message to the remaining Alpha members. "Alpha team, Report to the elevator immediately. You are getting to go down early. Delta team leader has reported blood and an overall missing staff. Keep your guard up and make your way to Delta's position. Over and out." The comm then died and crackled one last time.

Simon was geeked. "Finally," he exclaimed. He all but ran to the elevator. He looked at his commanding officer which he didn't like that much at this point and asked, "Who the hell are our other teammates?"

Arcade Fire
"Back outside the elevator, probably getting ready. I don't blame them, it's supposed to be hazardous down there. The blood doesn't sound reassuring, either. They need to hurry, though." He could tell there was contempt between the two, but he didn't care. He was never one for friendships.

Lieutenant Loran Rek stepped through the de-con' chamber and into a room with a few chairs and a table. A lift was positioned to the side of the room and a halway branched of to the side. There was a suited guard by the lift. "Im looking for Alpha team."

"Down there sir." The guard replied in a filtered voice pointing to the hallway.

"Thanks." Rek walked across the room and down the hall. The guard watched in silence.

"Summers, Rand, you stay here until I've scouted the area ahead." LT. Book stepped off of the freight elevator and onto the cold, dull, steel floor. Two of the overhead lights had been destroyed, which made the rest of the hall hard to navigate and created odd lighting tha mostly confused the senses. As his eyes adjusted to the low lighting and the spots where there was no lighting, he made out the figure of a hazmat suit. "Who's there?" No response comes from the unit and it does not move. Jacob makes his way over to the figure and turns his light on. Right as he does he could make out the features of Chew, Charlie LT. "Chew!" TRhe figures eyes shot open and yelled. "What the!? Get away! You won't kill me!" Jacob reared back and hit him in the face. "Calm down! That's an order!" As Chew's visor changed from a milky white, where the punch hit, he seemed calmer. "Don't try to pull rank on me Book!" Just as he realized that is was Jacob he hugged him. "My God, Jake, you have no idea what the hell is down here waiting for us.." Jacob looked confused. "Seems to me that a virus is waiting for us and maybe a few riotous scientists and guards." Chew looked worried and didn't seem to take his hand off of his pistol. Jacob noticed a small round crack up near the top of Chew's visor. In the back of his mind all he could think was, "What would drive him to try and shoot himself?" Jacob shook his head and helped Chew into the next room. Just as the dorr shut, it sealed and refused to open. "What the fu--" Chew just laughed. "Those ****ers are learning to use acid?" Jacob leaned Chew up against the wall and walked off trying to find something to use to open the door.

Rek stepped through the doors at the end of the corridor and encountered a Hazmat standing in a lift waiting it seemed. Rek addressed the Soldier. "You part of team Alpha? I just got transfered. Im Lieutenant Rek." Rek paused. "Looks like we've got some mess on our hands here." Loran smiles. "Where do I suit up?" He glances around. " Like I said. I just got here."

"You can grab a suit outside the elevator. Be sure you got some weapons, too. This should be a rocky mission." Gotham said, pointing down the hallway. "We're waiting for one more person. Once she's on, we go down."

"Oh baby give me one more chaaance, to show you that I love you, I want you back in my heart..."

Jacob check his comm and then looked for any active signals in the area. Only three showed up on the read out. 'Rand, Summers, and Chew.' "Damnit.. no topside. Oh well might as well try." Jacob clicked the comm to the strongest signal, Marlon's. "Summers, I need you to open the door at the end of the hallway. There is no way to open it.. you may have to get creative with this one. Marlon's laughter immediatly stopped but a smile remained on his face.

Marlon decided to try his first idea which proved to work more on him. He sprinted the entire distance to the door and charged with his shoulder causing a large metallic cling.

"AAAW F**king hell!"

Marlon looked at the sides and his face cringed. Looked like mucus to him.

"looks like we would need a laser, explosive, or a bulldozer for this one... sir is the door breakable?"

Marlon stopped at wierd sound of something moving. He shrugged it off and figured it to be Rand.

Rek plays with the suits air regulater for a minute before being satisfied and grabbing his blue helmet with the appropriate rank symbol and his name. "Loran 'Ghost' Rek". Passing by the gun cage he grabs the remaining pistol, some clips and just to be safe takes a couple of explosive charges from a heavy metal crate. Loads the baretta and gives the weapon a once over with slight disgust, before holstering the weapon and heading back to the lift.
Gotham was still alone. "So your a Brigader General? You out-rank me right?" Rek glances around. "I need....ahh there it is." Opens a box on the table near the lift and attaches the Scientific Scanner to the Hazmat suits power source then fits the device in place on his left arm. "Good." Rek beamed through his visor. "Where is everyone. Surely theres more."

Over and out." Jacob walked back to where Chew was and helped him to his feet. "C'mon man, we have to force this door to open when Summers hit's it." Chew looked around nervously but decided that getting to safety was the best option. "Alright, let's do this." Jacob and Chew both got up and marched over to the door. With the two of them prepared to pull the door open, they waited for Sumers to get ready.

"There are. Us three are going down now, if anyone else plans on coming, they can come down on another elevator trip." Gotham said, hitting a button on the elevator's panel. The doors slid closed with a clang, and the elevator scraped down to the lower level. Once the doors reopened, the members of Delta squad were attempting to progress through the facility, but a door was in the way.

"Trying to open that door?" he asked. "I could pull it open for you." He gripped the door with his left hand, his mechanical grip tightening.

SpadeKing
"Alright here we go shoulder."

He took a lot of steps back and set up in a 3 point stance and got ready. In his mind he set off the countdown 'down, set!' He immediatly started thinking about his shoulder out of this again. 'Hit!' Marlon exploded out of his stance and charged at the door full force yelling. this was about to be one hell of an impact.

Lt. Rek stepped out of the elevator. "I think we need to head deeper this areas been cleared according to High Command. Although I doubt they're entirely correct." Simon was completely engrossed in the whole idea that there was about to be action that he didn't even notice that there was another soldier in the elevator with he and Gotham.

"My bad," he said to the new guy. "I'm Private Raynard And who might you be?"

Fardin Vassisk
Rek smiled. "Your LT. Just transfered. Last minute." He pointed to the rank symbol on his helmet. Then turned back to the freight lifts control panel. "Looks like your eager to shoot something. Ahh." Rek flips the breaker and the lift frame screaches to life as the lift begins to return. "Ok. Listen up!" Loran begins. "Im lieutenant Loran Rek. Im your team leader." A dragging scraping slurping noise causes Rek to look at the lift hole just as a freakishly deranged humanoid dressed in Lab whites lept from it. "Auhh. Shoot it. Dont let it get into the lift."

Fardin Vassisk
The comm in Rek's suit started hissing then a voice that seemed very detached as if just reading from a progress report started speaking to him. "Lt. Loran Rek. It is vital that no-one leaves the laboratories. We are under full lock down. Once you reach the labs the lift to the surface will be shut down thirty minutes after. You will have to find another way out."

Lt. Rek wondered as he quietly replied. "What about Team Delta and Charlie. They may have wounded."

"Then leave them. Shoot them if need arises."

"Sir...I dont think the team will take kindly to shooting their fellow soldiers, I-"

"You don't think. You follow orders." The voice became adgitated. "I dont think you understand the situation. soldier. No-one must survive in the labs. Team Charlie hasn't reported its Zitrep in eighteen hours. And we lost comms with Delta two hours ago." The voice became bland again. "You have your orders lieutenant. Lt. Book has the same." There was a pause. "Good luck." Then the transmission cut out and Loran wondered if he imagined the conversation.

When Jacob didn't feel an impact he knew that the two outside had a plan going. Chew and Book made their way back to a small over-turned table with what seemed like butchered bodies all around it. "What the.." Chew's head shot up and made a quieting motion. "I think I hear my team coming, that's not a good thing either." Book looked at him funny. "What do y--" Chew knocked Jacob's helmet making him be quiet. "None of my team survived. All those are, are the things they became.. Stay quiet and they will leave. It's useless to shoot at them unless their helmet is gone. Believe me.. I found that out the hard way." Book made sure his hand was on his pistol the whole time but made sure to stay in the shadows as he could here faint foot steps in the background.

Fardin Vassisk
The 'creature' started towards the shocked team. It had a hungry look in its deranged and unhuman eyes. Rek reached for his pistol and aimed carefully at its head. The humanoid paused at the sight of the gun and turned towards the lift. Simon and Gotham both fired several shots at the creature. Simons shot passed through is torso and Gotham got a head shot. Rek stopped before he pulled the trigger and instead glanced at its grotesque but somewhat human form as it collapsed. He didnt need to waste ammo and instead said. "Good shooting people. Simon check the body. What the hell was that thing?"

The freight elevator shuddered to a hault. "Ok Gotham on the lift. You first."

Red Spartan
Jacob started to notice the lights flicker. "What's going on?" Chew looked worried and his voice matched the feeling. "That's a surge.. in other words we just went back to full power." Suddenly all the lights in the area turned on and a low pitch but loud alarm started to blare in the back ground. Just as this happened the infected Charlie looked over and screamed what could only be described as something you never wanted to hear again. Jacob opened fire immediately and Chew did the but with an assault rifle. "Where the hell did you find that!?" Chew just laughed. "There is a small armory and eight or nine clicks down the hallway that they are in. Only about six guns though."

Arcade Fire
Gotham nodded. "Let's go." He lifted his chainsaw gun and proceeded down the hallway. He kept his chainsaw revved, but made sure it didn't make too much noise. Then, he turned around the corner into the room.

Oh and if you need to know who this is, Mo.. it's J-man." Jacob's eyes got wide as he realized what was happening. His friend had actually gotten clearance to go down to their position. "Hey, J-man, this Mo here, what is your status?" The radio clicked and started to protrude more sound. "We are currently in Lab A's entrance holding those things back. It's kind of pointless -sound of gun fire and cheering- ..ause they already over ran the south exit. Yours is the only one currently unharmed." Jacob thought for a moment. "Why are you defending a downed elevator?" His friends laughed. "Downed? This is the damn front door to the main hospital of the city!" As soon as his friend said that the radio cut out and so did his suit's light. As soon as it cut back on the signal was lost but the solution was known.

Rek tuned his comm the general command frequency. But all he got was stactic he switched transponder channels but still static. He paused. "Guys. We've lost comms with the surface. And our exit is gonna get sealed off in fifteen minutes. Theres not gonna be any back up from this route. The rest of our team will have to rendezvous with us when we find another exit." Rek stepped onto the rusty freight elevator. It was stained and slightly slick with blood. Rek switched his comm to Team Delta's frequency. "Hazmat team Delta. This is Hazmat team Alpha. Do you read over. What is the situation..." Loran thought he heard static vocals burst through the speaker but shrugged it off. "Repeat; what, is, the situation. Lieutenant Book, anyone. Delta do you read. Charlie team do you read..." Another burst of vocalised static that sounded something to Rek like 'zom if i read, Charl ie herry. Reppit.' Rek turned to Gotham. "You get any of that? Sounds like heavy interferance." And alarm started blaring in the background and the warning lights started flashing. Rekko looked at Gotham. "Powers back!" He slapped the comm back to full power. "Hazmat Delta this is Hazmat Alpha. We are enroute to your last known location. Please advise. This is Lieutenant Rek. Lieutenant Book you read?" The static cleared suddenly...

Fardin Vassisk
(OOC: I have an idea. So we dont get confused put (Alpha) or (Delta) in brackets bafore writing so we know which team were reading about.)

Red Spartan
((Thank you. I was stressing that at the beginning of the thing hahaha))

Jacob heard Alpha's commander's voice over the comm system. *In a souther accent* "Alpha, is that you!? God damn, what took you guys so long? We've come under attack.. and surely you must have too. -Gunfire and garbled words from Chew- I'm down here with Charlie's team leader. Everyone else from Charlie is KIA!" Now Jacob's voice seems more distant. "Take this *****!" A loud boom crackes over the comm as a .45 goes off in the enemies face. "We have a rendezvous at Lab A. We won't be able to go back your way unless you can get that door op-" Static fills the line as Jacob loses his radio to an oncoming infected.

Arcade Fire
Gotham looked up at the luminescent lights, waiting for Alpha's next move. "Ready."

Fardin Vassisk
"We're on our way Delta. Lieutenant Book can you hold?" Rek tosses a med scanner to Simon. We'll be back as soon as we can. Guard the lift till its shuts down. If you dont hear from us before then. Head back up! No HEROICS! Gotham with me. We're going in." The freight elvator begins to decend. To comm "Delta we have C4. We can blow through. Or create an opening further on?" The rusted elevator shakes badly and vibrates. Turns to Gotham. "Whats your opinion General?"
(OOC: Am i doin ok?)

Simon couldn't believe that he was left alone. "What the hell," he thought to himself. He was pretty good with his gun but not that good to where he could cover his own self. He heard some footsteps that sounded like they were headed in the direction of the LT. and Gotham. As soon as this lift stopped Simon was going to go help his team.

Fardin Vassisk
((Ordained check the previous page for why you were left. Dont worry we'll call you down in the freight elevator if you check the body with the med scanner like i asked. Theres some trouble and we need to check out Delta's situation. You must guard te lift till it shuts down then follow unless we say otherwise. Copy lol))

"Those things can't be that far. If we blow through now with our pistols, we won't get very far. We should find better arms before we decide to push through." He stepped our of the elevator, raising his pistol.

Fardin Vassisk
"Right." Rek stepped off the elevator and raised his pistol. "Team Delta did you read my last transmission. We are going to evac' any Delta tha... What the hell." About fifteen zombies staggered towards Rek and Gotham in the room. "We got a problem here." He said as much to the comm as to Gotham. "Lieutenant Book if you can read this... Ah! there behind us. If there are any Delta in the vicinity of freight elevator B we may need back up. Lieutenant Book if you can hold we should be able to blow through the door. God'dammit. Gotham fire at will ahh." Rek fires at the nearest zombie and blew its friggin brains out. "Take this... Gotham where. Lift or hallway. Some Delta's should be down there auh" a loud shot over the comm. Private Reyard guarding lift hears the continuing transmisions. Rek doesn't cut the comm.

SpadeKing
"Yo Rand you heard that right? We gotta hurry and get that damn door down."

Marlon switched his safety switch off and activated his suit's lights. He continously turned around the entire area looking for anything, this mission was actually getting exciting but, someone was most likely dying right now.

Red Spartan
Lt. Jacob's comm crackles to lfe with a transmission that somehow connects with the other comms in the vicinity. "Jake.. you have to move to our position now! We don't have too much more ammo here and we are losing men like crazy... -Other soldier- What the hell is that!?" Gun fire screams across the comms and then screaming. "Book, scrath that last command! We are no moving to lab A to await your arrival." Jacob started to laugh and then started to fire at the oncoming monstosities in the hall way. "I'll get the rest of the Hazmats and mov-" The other line was quiet only momentarily. "No can do, we can only support you and Chew. That was the basics of it.." Book seemed to look at the ground. "Can I atleast get the others to the security check point?" The other line seemed frustrated. "Fine, but only you and Chew are authorized to get in the humvees." Jacob started to pull Chew towards a hallway at the south side of the corridor. "The others will most likely go North since it's the fastest way to the elevators. If any come this way, make sure they now we are here." Chew just nodded and started to shut the door behind them.

Arcade Fire
"The elevator. We'll have to regroup if we're going to survive. They'll need our help getting that door down, since they're vulnerable to another attack." He fired off a few shots at zombies' chests, putting a few down. "How are we going to get through all of these things to get to the elevator, though?"

Fardin Vassisk
"You wanna take em' on. Be my guest but in nine minutes that lift shuts down and this is the easy way." The Lt drags Gotham into the relatively zombie free hallway and reloaded his weapon. He slammed the clip into the butt of the pistol. "I didn't bring much ammo... You? I got four clips left. Sh**! I left the comm on. Reynard you there?" He glanced down the hallway. "We're below the hallway Delta's Lt was trapped on." Rek said to Gotham then says into the comm. "Reynard, Delta we're cut off from the elevator. We're below the previous location of your Lieutenant." Rek paused. "Book does Chew know the location of the armory? We need it with regards to the lower hallways. You could place a comm marker in that general location." Rek fires into the room hitting several zombies. "You mutated f***s!" To comm. "Reynard: two members of Delta are in the room to the right of the elevator. Proceed with caution once the lift shuts down. Don't follow. We're cut off." Rek losens a few rounds into the Zombie filled room. "Rek out." To Gotham. "Down the hallway General but be careful." Rek proceeds to sweep the hallway from side to side with his pistol as he makes his way down it.

Fardin Vassisk
'A stairway leading up would be nice.' Rek thought as they passsed one heading down. "We could blow a hole in the ceiling." Rek said and immediatly regretted almost making another bad decision. "Ok General what do you recommend. Because: One. You are more experienced than me. And. Two. You do technically out-rank me. I brought some C4 explosives and several satchel charges. We could incinerate the building. Try and stop the outbreak." Rek glanced back down the hallway, he laughed "Actually forget that last comment, Im not sacraficing good men." Zombies were pouring like ants through the doorway.
Rek suddenly had an idea, he smiled through his visor. "Ok Gotham into the room on the left. I'll be there in a minute." Rek moved across the passage with Gotham to the doorway and then moved, alone, back to the other side "Cover me from the doorway!" He called out as he made his way back down the hallway.

Arcade Fire
Gotham swiped around, standing next to the doorway. "We aren't blowing this place up yet. Not until we get Delta out." He fired two shots off, slowly depleting his ammo. They both managed to take down a zombie each, but there were still more. "If you have any grenades, hand them over to me now. We're going to have to take a lot of them out at once if we're going to escape them."

Red Spartan
Jacob and Chew both made their way down the low lit hallway up until they reached a security door. "There is an access ladder here, we can use it to get to the next floor and on to Lab A." Chew turned around and started to fire at any zombies that he saw, occasionally scoring body shots. "Well, if we are going to do something, I say we do it now!" Chew started to take more shots until his gun clicked. He quickly ejected the spent clip and loaded a fresh one into the chamber. "Last nine bullets... wish I had saved that assault rifle about now." Jacob pried open the security door and was surprised so to see his friend sitting at the control link. His friend wheeled around with a combat shotgun and aimed at them both. "God damn Jake, next time why don't you just shoot me." They both let out a laugh and Jacob shut the door behind him quickly. "So, Ben... what the hell are you even doing here." Ben laughed hoarsely and responded. "Well it has to do with having a lot of connections and being in the vicinity when the news was released. Besides there are like six Hazmats inb the whole state.. kinda thought the top of the line Delta team would be here." Jacob laughed. "Thank God you are here man. Most of my team is still in the inserion point.. now at least I have someone that I know has my back." Ben now laughed. "Hell yeah, you know it, bro."

Fardin Vassisk
As Rek get closer to the Zombies he could hear their chilling groans, giving him goosebumps. "No grenades. Just trust me!" He called back to Gotham as he covered Rek. Rek fired occasionally at the zombies but he tried to conserve some ammo. He got as close as he could metally will himself to them and reached into his explosive pack slung on his shouder. He took out the smallest C4 charge 'I hope this works.' He thought. He set the timer to five seconds and prepared to activate it an run. The zombies got closer and closer. Gotham stopped firing Rek didn't look to find out why and mentally began counting down from ten. The zombies began reaching out for him, their groaning and movements chilled Rek to his soul. He closed his eyes and clutched the explosive tightly. At three he activated the delay timer. At two he threw it. At one he ran. At zero he dived to the flor, scraping his armour and sliding along as the hallway was baved in a violent orange glow. Then the shock wave and ear bursting sound carried Reks body all the way up to Gothams armoured feet. The vibrations could be felt by all in the complex.

Red Spartan
Jacob watched on as Ben fiddled with a a package in his gear. "Is that what I think it is?" Ben grinned very proudly and shook his head. "You know it. We made that pact to do this when zombies attacked." JAcob just nodded his head and Chew just watched in anticipation. Ben turned to the control system and tapped into the main speakers. -Speakers- "Warning unauthroized entry into the main speaker sys-" The speakers crackeld for a moment before a odd noise started to play through. Jacob instantly knew what it was, it played in his mind. It was the song Not falling by Mudvayne. Just as the Cd went into play the whole building shook. "What the fu-" Ben looked at moniter. "Looks like your friends can handle themselves."

Fardin Vassisk
Gotham helped Rek up. Rekko smiled as he glanced at his handywork. "Nice." He activated his comm. "Attention Hazmats Delta and Alpha. This is Alpha team leader. We just redecorated the lower labs. The lift area is clear on this floor. Ha haa! Take that you brainless, moaning, b******s! Hoo haa! Wooo! I'll tell you one thing. I've never been so f***ing s***less in my entire life!" He paused to check his suit. It was intact except for a light spattering of blood and some scrapes. Nothing to worry about. "The armory is near here. Lt Book do you know the location?" Rek could hear some cheers through the hiss of his comm. 'Damn.' He thought. Smiling, he looked at Gotham.

Red Spartan
Jacob clicked his radio. "Lt. Rek, the Armory is two floors up from your position, one from mine. Should we make that a rendevous point?" Grunts could be heard from the three soldiers trying to force the door to stay shut from the many zombies trying to open it.

Fardin Vassisk
." "Lt. Rek, the Armory is two floors up from your position, one from mine. Should we make that a rendevous point?" ". Rek could hear grunts crackle through his suits speaker. "Sounds like a plan." Rek spoke quickly. "We created a gaping hole where a hallway floor should be so we can't get back by freight elevator B. Any ideas, I didn't get a full breif on the complex when I arrived where are the other elevators or even stairwells?." He paused. "What does the situation look like?" He asked as both he and Gotham moved through the lower labs.

((Is music playing throughout the entire complex?))

Red Spartan
((Yes.))

Jacob thought for a moment. "From your last projected position, I believe there is a staircase about.. thity or forty yards from your posted position." More grunts could be heard and then the door could be heard bending open. Two sounds of gunfire could be heard before all transmissions stopped from their positions. Jacob and Ben made a mad dash for the ladder while Chew stayed at the door. "Chew! Come on, we can't stay here!" Chew pulled a small HE grenade from his bag and motioned for the two to keep moving. "Sorry I won't be able to make it to the bar you two were going to invite me to..." Jacob and Ben reluctantly made there way up the ladder and halfway up Ben placed a DetPack on the wall for thirty seconds. "Goodbye old friend..." A earsplitting explosion sounded and the ladder was covered in debris from the bottom. Ben then clicked armed and finally pulled himself up the remaining rungs and closed the door. After pressure cealing the door the explosion took out all traces of the ladder, so the two kept moving to where the nearest stairwell was.

The PA system was playing music when it suddenly burst into static then whined before going silent. "This way." Rek motioned Gotham through the door to their right and stumbled straight into four zombies. The lights flickered. There wasn't even time to aim. Botham and Rek fired blindly until their clips ran out, and Gotham bashed the last one between its collar bone and its jaw with his metal hand. Effectively snapping the head off. "Up." Loran breathed. As they ran up he hoped the rest of Delta and Alpha's Reynard was alright. He reloaded his pistol with another clip. 'One left.' He thought. 'Hope we dont run into something big.' He tapped his comm. "Lt Book repeat your last..." He shuddered. "...transmission. It was garbled then it cut off."

Fardin Vassisk

"Repeat your last transmission over."

Jacob tapped his comm as well as he could during a small fight that insued during the small bout of radio silence. "We.. are taking... heav.. ire.. rom .. sides.. don't come.. r us.. get.. out whi.. ou can! Ove-" The transmission cuts out and Book's transponder blinks to offline, automatically listing him as KIA. As soon as the transmission cut out, Jacob and Ben tore ass towards a secondary security checkpoint and ducked inside at the last moment. The room was empty and relatively hard to notice so they both decided to lay low while attempting to fix the armor's comm.
