Nimrod was reverse engineered from Celestial tech. Granted, it's only maybe 1/10th as powerful as the actual celestial tech, but it's more than enough to wreck IM.

Ultimo is made from celestial tech and sure he is extremely powerful but Iron Man can handle him well enough.

However at the end of the day, maybe I just don't know enough about Nimrod.
