Has been done and since you said they're at their prime, which technically means Ryu can use whatever in his arsenal, he slices Nintendo's sexy b*tch in half with the Plasma Saber Mk.II. Shields would be destroyed by Hayabusa's massive energy attacks. Simple as that. As stated in the other thread, Samus's arsenal is nothing new to Ryu, as he's fought against missile users, opponents with beams that laughably dwarf's Samus's in terms of power (Vigoor Emperor's, Ishtaros', etc.) not to mention the fact that any of Samus's attacks can be countered with simple teleportation. Ryu's fast enough to leave after-images and avoid turret fire from helicopters.

With the Dark Dragon Blade...well...I'm not even going there this time...
