Wolverine would also be top ten. Although I think the actions of an 80 pound weakling stepping up take some beating.

Sustain his body by willpower?? He sustains his body with food and a healing factor.

No he has sustained his body souly by force of will before. He actaully done it a few times after losing his healing factor.

I did not mean he always sustains his body through force of will lol.

though his will power is tested day in and out due to berserker rage.

Endless Mike
The answer is obviously DOOM!

Seems odd to me. That's some sort of psycho-kinetic control over one's body...impressive (and baffling) but probably not something that should be quantified as willpower. Wouldn't it simply be a better explanation to say that he isn't in a state to simply die as soon as he loses his healing power? Or are there examples of him literally sitting there and willing himself not to die due to the loss of healing?

As for the beserker rage, I don't think his default state is "berserk" and he has to constantly keep it in check via willpower...it's just not true.

I have no probalem with Logan having awesome willpower. But I think you're citing some faulty reasons for it.

yes. He was able to will himself to survive and keep on fighting. It was mention quite a few times. He has also will him self to keep fighting after his body had completely failed him.

Look, I know you're a fan of Wolverine. And, often, I try to bitchslap down those that assign to you the title of 'fanboy.'

However, if you're trying to argue that Wolverine has the strongest willpower....

Im not. I simply said it was stronger then capts or spidermans.

But strongest no I would think not. The GL corps would likly have the strongest will power of either worlds

Plastic Man, he was in pieces for 2,000 years unable to move and he didn't go crazy

Innerhype
Tony Stark.

He overpowered a telepath trying to mindrape him by force of will.

He was able to reconstitue his mind after having it scattered across cyberspace by force of will.

Apparently there's a book entitled "Willpower", and Alan Scott is it's author:

Thanos should be up there in Marvel. The guy has gotten pretty much anything he's ever tried to get.

Yeah, you're right, you're gonna get laughed outta the thread.

stick out tongue.

Alfheim
Dr Strange? I was under the impression just being adept at magic would give you strong willpower because it involves training the mind.

Wally West
Thanos is up there. He merged with the HOTU even after it had destroyed his body through sheer will power.

I definitely think Thanos would be up there...maybe not the top of all time, but he was able to use the HoTI even after his body had been completely incinerated through sheer force of willpower alone. He was also one of the few people able to tap into the reality gem.

pr1983
Alan Scott, Hal, Captain America, Superman, Silver Surfer etc...

llagrok
A KC Alan Scott one shot. That would be awesome.

Superherovandal
