Actually, Zom and Eternity have never appeared in the same comic together.

You're talking about Umar's 1967 vague account of the events that took place.

She never said Eternity could not defeat Zom,
she only stated that both Eternity and Dormy imprisoned Zom.

There's no mention of a battle between Zom and Eternity of any kind.

Btw. In the very next issue, Strange stalemated Zom alone,
Strange was then further empowered by the Ancient One,
so Strange then ended up owning Zom by ripping his power source away.

Strange + Ancient one = or > Eternity?

I believe he means Eternity (the Multiverse)
not one of his single Universal aspects, which also go by the same name.
