he beat him the next year before KoF97 but Kyo was disillusioned so he "SPARED HIS LIFE" and walked away.
KoF97 he didn't get to fight him due to the orochi interference
KoF98, Kyo was missing
KoF99, they didn't meet
Kof2000, nada
KoF2001, no one knows
KoFZillion, Iori gave him a super pwnage
KoF zillion video, the video literally begins with Kyo sitting on the ground defeated
KoF2003, didn't fight

I never copped out, I didn't say R.Iori was a better fighter, I said he was a STRONGER one, he has strength speed and higher energy levels than normal, the only thing that normal Iori has over his Riot self, is brains, which means tactical thinking.
