Captain REX
Not quite...but hey, Sylar! That's far more interesting than Louisiana girl.

Not sure what her importance will be, of course. Sylar mentioned something about something not being real in one of the season two trailers.

Kensei the Limey. Hah. Any theories on his power?

Yes, I remember Sylar saying as much in a Season 2 preview video. That's what I mentioned to my uncle as well, seems like a paradise he's in, but it has to be all in his mind.

Kensei...no clue. Maybe something like Hiro's, a common bond between them, like the sword.

Captain REX
Yes. Though, unlike Hiro, Kensei uses it to find more wasaki, that drunken British git.

No clue about Kensei's ability

The paradise dream sequence could be one of Candice's illusions. Sylar might be getting himself a shiny new power. Sounds possible, since Missy will be working on the show "Reaper"

How about this one?:

202 Lizards 10/01/07

" With one person dead, Matt enlists some unlikely help as the attacks continue on people with abilities. Claire's efforts to hide her healing abilities at her new California high school are jeopardized by a fellow student with a secret of his own. Niki and Micah leave Las Vegas in an attempt to start over. As part of his new job, Dr. Suresh must track down The Haitian. While crossing into Mexico, Maya and Alejandro's abilities prove to be a threat to those around them. Meanwhile, disappointed by his hero Kensei, Hiro resolves to rectify any damage his presence in feudal Japan has done to history. And another lost Hero falls in with a gang of Irish gangsters with clues to his past. "

wait wait wait.. does that mean that the black guy who can phase through stuff die? I know they showed him get shot but he was still alive when the last episode of season 1 ended, and I believe he only got shot once while Matt got shot multiple times in the chest and lived.

It was reveled at some point that he wasn't going to be part of the main cast anymore, so maybe.

Leonard Roberts (D.L.) is not returning as a regular this season, this could mean anything: from his character dying, to him going into hiding. Ali Larter (Niki) would be taking a break, so she won't be in the show for a good portion of the season. I don't think they both die, so maybe they go into hiding or some-other thing.
DL could be dead (though I dont think so) or maybe hiding or has been taken prisoner, and Niki could be go with him or looking for him.

as for Micah, he would be sent to live with his grandma and his cousin Monica, a young new hero, in New Orleans.
Monica is "an avenging angel intent on bringing justice to the corruption-plagued Big Easy."

... I dont think I should be using spoiler tags since this is all going to happen in this episode... but just in case...

Quincy
Wasn't there a scene from the graphic novel saying that D.L would be alright?

Captain REX
Seeing as Niki and DL are murderers, people might have a problem with that.

Even if DL had been cleared for what Niki/Jessica had done, he did rip out Linderman's brain at the end.

Yeah, I was just like "Oh, Linderman has no brain now. Heh."

that weird popping noise that it made still makes me cringe.

Not that I remember, and I just read the graphic novels not too long ago.

yes, there was

it was the GN after the last episode

it's "the death of Hana Gilterman" part 2

it's not know for sure he is alright, but Niki says to Micah that he "is going to be fine", the doctors are taking care of him

.. but anything could happen

S_D_J
I made a mistake here.

And "Lizards" premiers tonight. big grin

I think we'll know tonight big grin

Quincy
Well altogether I thought this episode was a bit lower par than the previous. It had more "Oh Man!" moments than "4 Months Later" did, but I think as an entire episode, 4 months takes it.

I felt that once again there was alot of Claire in it, but whenever Noah shows up makes the scene much better. I felt that the other characters need to be talked about more.

There was alot more Maya y Alejandro, and I thought it was cool to see her power in action. It was sure creepy.

But the best moment of the episode IMO was when Angela Petrelli was being interrogated, and when she was subsequently attacked. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" was great, and I was legitimately scared during the attack scene.

I'm getting suspicions that Wes is sort of a bad guy. and kind of a weird stalker. But more with that later.

I was SO looking forward to seeing Kensei's power. To me, it was a letdown. I'm getting annoyed of the repeated powers. Flight with Wes and now healing again? I mean, can they really not think of other powers?

I thought that the Haitian/HRG reunited scene was great as well.

Peter's scenes were of course great as well.

But where's the SY MAN?

Strangelove
West isn't a stalker, at least not in the criminal sense. He was attracted to Clarie ever since she showed up at school, and there's a reason for that, of course.

I was a little disgruntled about repeating powers too, but then I rationalized that it's no different than two different people having blue eyes, genetically speaking. I don't really have a problem, but I was surprised that Takezo could heal. I'm still operating under the assumption that they won't double up, so apparently I need to stop that stick out tongue

I think we're going to be following these four storylines for a few more episodes, and then they'll add more and intertwine them as necessary. I'm liking the more focused approach this season: watching old episodes, you realize how pell-mell it used to be.

Well...it seems that way. He was floating outside of her bedroom window. She never told him where she lived right? He was watching her in her bedroom. And he showed up outside of her living room window.

Coincidence?

Bad guy?

Hmm.

I dont remember stalking a girl outside of her house. wink

Maybe I'm just being negative. But I dont think so.

I just dislike west. or wes. whatever

Kensei possesses the power of spontaneous regeneration similar to Claire's abilties.

Haven't you heard the song Voyeur by Blink 182 vin thats why he was stalking her

but seriously... good episode, and i love how they make it where you cannot wait till the next one...

the whole "Whats in the box!?" thing is weird cause i watch prison break, and they had the SAME exact thing.. i thought it was funny.. WHATS IN THE BOX!?!!??! RAWR

Captain REX
Personally, as great as the opening episode of the season was, I liked this one much better.

Peter's scenes were fantastic, especially when he destroyed those two guys in the bar. Electromagnetivity, telekinesis, regeneration, and enhanced strength, all in one go! Peter is the man.

The Haitian wiping Mohinder was an intriguing scene. One moment we're in Haiti, the next we're in the States again. I think the mind-wipe, due to the reunion towards the end, suggests that it was planned.

Hiro's scenes of ass-kickery was amazing. He didn't even move...well, at least that's how it appeared to them. He even suggested the name of the battle, as he's probably heard of it through the stories and wanted to make sure it stayed the same.

This episode had a lot of WTF?! moments, as in "Okay, thaaat was creepy..." It mostly involved the attack on Angela and Maya y Alejandro's freakout.

Another thing I thought neat; Ando did not know Matt, as Hiro had teleported him to Japan, and Matt did not know Nathan from last season's finale, but from an earlier episode, as he was down and dying. Just thought that it was neat that not all the characters from last season know each other.

Good to see Claire taking such interest in her power, rather than just going "Neat! I can't get hurt!"

Is anyone else disappointed that other languages besides Japanese don't get subtitled as Japanese does? I thought it was a neat distinguishing thing for Heroes, but then those not-too-pretty yellow subtitles...

Tattoo
I just noticed that the original plot synopsis I got from TV.com was the farthest thing from what was in the episode.

Captain REX
Yeah, actually, that's completely inaccurate, though Kensei's power does get revealed.

Darth Vicious
The thing that caught that made me think "Thats how the "boogeyman" will die" was when the "healer" told Maya that her "sickness" could kill the devil himself(something along those lines). The virus that keeps infecting the "supers" remind of the Legacy Virus from the X-men. Well 80% of the powers remind me of the X-men.

Ordained
I was so relieved to see Maya's power although I don't know what it actually is, however. What is her brother's power? I keep hearing that he has one, too.

no expression Did you not see her brother absorb the blackness from her? no expression

Ordained
No. How did he do it?

He was just there with her and the stuff started flowing into his eyes, sort of. He is able to handle the blackness without being affected. He's the Ying to her Yang.

WONDER TWIN POWERS, ACTIVATE!

Ordained
That's kinda cool. So what does the blackness do? Cause blood vessels to burst or something?

no expression Do you even watch the show?

The blackness is what streams from their eyes, that's not blood. It's a disease comparable to the Black Plague.

Ordained
sly

Yes I watch the show. I just don't understand certain things. Forgive me for asking questions shrug

T.M
This was a cool episode. I loved Peter fighting in the bar using the different ability's was really cool. And Claire's regenerating toe was awesome.

Captain REX
I have the rewindable cable box, so I watched the "Peter kicking ass" scene about three times before I went on with the show. I laughed at how much he handed their asses to them...

I'm unsure about Maya's power. I just know that it's creepy as hell.

Ordained
I agree on both parts.

Peter did some serious ass kicking (while looking like a real OG) and Maya's power is creepy.

chickenlover98
i thought it was a lil gay at the end when the guy showed him the box and peter did nothing. he has telekinesis for christs sake and he remembers how to use it. he shoulda just grabbed it. maya's power is wierd as shit. creepy

Captain REX
That's what I thought as well, but I thought, "Eh, it's Peter. He could grab it with telekinesis, but I don't see him as the type to show off unless he's pissed or in dire need."

chickenlover98
thats not showing off its getting his life back! he doesnt remember anything. although i do agree with your theory that it was probably the haitian.

The Pict
I didn't really like this episode, I wanted to know more about what Molly was dreaming about in the previous episode.
And who killed Hiro's father.

Can't wait for the next one though, it looks really interesting after watching a preview for it.

Yet Alexandro appears to be the "anti-virus?" I also recall a healer woman mentioning something regarding the devil and that this "taint" of Maya's could destroy him; add in what "legacy virus" and 2nd season villains connatations you will.

About the X-Men reference: There is a lot of Marvel-related powers, characters and story-lines in Heroes - in fact, did you see in Season 1 where Stan Lee made an appearance as a bus-driver? I was like "Oh my God!" Stan Lee is a legend...

It also makes kinda sense to have Marvel influence Heroes, since there are a lot of similarities between Marvel's mutants and Heroes' evolutionary powers - much more than DC's overpowered superheroes.

As far as I can figure out:

Mr Bennet is Nick Fury
Claire and Nicki combined are Wolverine
Sylar is the Parasite
etc...

Maybe it's just me, but I see a lot of similarities between Heroes and Marvel.

As for Peter not grabbing the box - that's typically Peter. He could have grabbed in any one of a hundred ways, and should have, since they kept him tied up in a chair and beat the living daylights out of him - but Peter tends to react, rather than act. He rarely takes the initiative - especially when it comes to using his powers on normal people.

That's the one thing I would change - I would change Peter in a bad-ass like he was in the Dark Future! But then it would be difficult to find somebody to match him - just like in DC Comics! Ha ha...

I just can't wait to find out about the new bad guy - when he attacked Mrs Petrelli, I kept on thinking 'Will-o-the-Wisp' - a bad guy they had in Marvel a long time ago.

I couldn't figure out if he was intangible or just invisible - the scene suggested to me that he had more than just invisibility - otherwise how did he take out the power of the building and then restore it?

But it is possible - he could have been in the interrogation room, waiting for them to leave, and then he could have left when the window got broken...

Anyone else care to speculate?

I can't wait to see Episode 3!

Captain REX
Peter being a bad-ass was only good for Five Years Gone; by that point, he was an embittered terrorist fighting against The Man, not an empathic, friendly guy who just happens to have the ultimate power. I wouldn't like Peter to be the Dark Future Peter all the time, just as Hiro said that Dark Future Hiro "scared ."

Whoever attacked Angela Petrelli likes to slash and scratch. They likely have some sort of teleportation power, I'd think. Because the villain vanished after shoving Kaito off the building, and he left the room without a trace when they smashed in to save Angela Petrelli.

However, that doesn't explain the lights.

It seems to me the attacker was both invisible and incorporeal

sort of a ghost...
... kinda like Freddy Krugger

but i thinking it's more like a psychic power (maybe telekinesis), somekind of powerful mental projection... it might be possible the attackers was in her head, and maybe she ended up scratching herself

just a thought...

and what about Angela at some point was intimate with Kaito.... I laughed when she said that... but it might be true...
