Kasumi defeats everyone but Hayabusa in the DOA tournament(the chapter makes it look like Hayabusa wasn't in the tournament) including Ayane and finally Raidou who oneshot Ayane before the tournament started. Raidou then powers up and fights Kasumi. The match ends with a Torn Sky Blast showdown between them. Kasumi manages to get the upperhand thanks to good ole Hayabusa doing what he promised to Hayate biscuits

Ok so I am now on the 2nd chapter and Hayabusa WAS in the first tournament. He just placed 2nd, because maybe like Lisa said "He wasn't that interested in it..."
