Is anyone else bothered or uncomfortable by the name of this forum? Were not here just to talk about the trilogy of the Lord of The Rings. At least in my opinion were here to talk about all things related to Tolkien, or at least Middle Earth. With the respect and permission of the members I believe the name of this forum should be changed.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Tolkiens Corner

2. The Realm (or World) of Middle Earth

3. The Realm (or World) of Arda

4. Middle Earth Discussion Thread

5. Children of Lluvatar

Any other suggestions?

As I said in our PM, a name change wouldn't really mean much. People discuss Tolkien already in this forum, as well as non-trilogy related topics. It would just be a semantic change...it wouldn't really change anything about the forum.

Beyond that, KMC is a movie site. It makes sense in this light, especailly wedged between multiple other movie franchises.
