but in all honesty..Aquaman would win via superior strength and telepathy. Well depending on which version of Hawkman as even Martian Manhunter was in extreme pain probing Holl's mind when he was the Hawk Avatar

Spot on, and it pains me to read the final issues of Aquaman 🙁 The art, the writing? Awful, simply awful.
Well Kator Hall was also taking on Wonder Woman one on one, destroying Green Lantern constructs easily, blows that rocked Martian Manhunter, etc. so it's not really that bad for Aquaman against Kator as he was just being crazy with feats
I was actually referring to the last issue of Shaun McLaughlin's run, back in the early 90's. In his final issue the Barracuda is a reformed villain who takes care of a kid with aids who's run away to find Aquaman. He and Aquaman become good friends (though he wasn't seen since, until that Hawkman issue), and it's a good, heartwarming issue.
Now he's a child molester.
Ah well, guess that's the 90's for you.
But yeah, the current issues of Aquaman? Sooner that ends the better. I re-read all William's issues last week, and it's like slow torture.
