We really have nothing to base Vrook's skills on. We know he managed to get captured by some bounty hunters on Dantooine, albeit it was supposedly purposeful. He helped in some unseen way in the battle by going to the mercenary camp alone before the battle, and we know that he was annihilated by Kreia along with two other Jedi Masters.

Besides that, he's just another Jedi Master.

Who is Maleval and what has he done as far as combat abilities go? On SWikia, all I saw was that he was shot in the back.
