This game is 3rd person action game with free roam in New York.You play as Alex Mercer a genetically enhanced soldier with shapeshifting abilities who lost his memories.Your goal is to reclaim your memories find out what happened to you and take revenge on whom did that.Alex has enhanced durability ,strenght ,speed (he can run at 60 mph) he can create shield or weapons from his arm....also he can "absorb" people with this he is able to "steal" their memories and learn new things for instance "absorbing" a helicopter pilot will lead you to learn how to drive a heli or absorbing a general will allow you to command soldiers ,call for airstrikes so you can create a kind of "secret war" against you enemies...etc,etc.
