Wolverine is tough and goes out solo all the time he doesn't need the Xmen ...they need him.

yeah, logan gets easily tounced first battle, loses the second slightly, comes out on top in the third, in a truley epic and classic comic book fasion.

I almost forgot the shredder is basically a brain in a android suit. you don't think Logan could cut through shredder alien armor? I do.

yeah that's doubtful, although with the sword of tengu, things might look grim for logan, I'm convinced that logan would find the resolve to take shredder down by the third fight.

I vote for Shredder just because i like him better

that would be sweet if wolverine had his own shredder armor.

Wait a minute...when and how did Shredder become an android? So, what, like they combined Shredder and Krang into one super-entity or something? Can the turtles still beat him? They used to own him up pretty badly in the cartoon - hell, Leo on his own could beat Shreder most of the time. Even Raphael did it once. And Splinter made a habit of it. When did Shredder become this uber-badass?

just cause you like him better thats no way to go about things espeacailly if there pitted against a UBer powerful character.

in the new series, shredder is an uber-badass. I don't know if you ever read any of the original BandW comics but the character portrayed in the cartoon is far more similar to that than the old cartoon incarnation.
So far shredder has been able to dissassemble the tmnt in just about every one of their bouts. He pretty much humiliates them with ease. The turtles have beat him by using his own weapon against him (the sword of tengu, think of some uber samarai sword with all the powers of he man) and allowing him to defeat himself. Shredder also tangled with a triceraton and only lost part of a leg due to impending circumstances. The new shredder is basically what you said about krang in an android body, However he's studied his martial arts to a point where he exceeds even splinter at times, and the strength of his armor is enough to shatter solid steel. he's tough.
