Namor's 80 tons, Griffin is more like 90. I thought he was more powerful than that. Wonderman used to get licked by him.
Anyhow, this is a good fight.

Namor beat, tamed and used Griffin as his new ride already.
It happened in Namor's own series from the early 90's.

It did indeed and the Griffins power has fluctuated like his intelligence over the years.
