if he could use the rings yes he would win but lately its been shown to be very difficult i mean when green arrow tried using hals ring the only thing he could do was shoot an arrow with it and then went unconcious from the mental strain.

Yes, it depends if he can use it right...he would win.

Depends on how well Supes knows how to use it. I could see him winning.

Supes with a GL ring moves, I don't know how many exactly, but many notches up the hierarchy totem pole.

If Superman can protect himself from solar-siphoning, Kryptonite and red-sun radiation with the GL ring, then Surfer has got his work cut out for him. This fight can now go either way with Supes probably having the edge.

Now, if we throw in Batman as Superman's strategist, then Surfer would be wise to pack his bags and sail off into the sunset.

But I heard some where that Supe's was going to become the GL for Krypton, so that makes him special enough.

im not sure where u heard that, and im not saying your wrong, but i would like to know where u heard it. and superman prime could use the ring, so i don't see why present day supes couldn't use it properly

I think this one is a little too tricky to call. Basically you have to compare the Power Cosmic and Oan energy. And as they are from two different universes comparing them objectively is difficult. The only advantage that I can see is that Superman needs both sources of his power recharged. He can only hold so much energy in his body and the same deal with the GL ring. If SS take Superman into deep space he could just out last Superman

Supes should be a pro at using the ring, he had similar powers when he was energy supes.
Still, this supes would be much, much too powerful.

yeah he could use the ring to amp up his solar reserves vastly protect himself from siphoning and any of SS's cosmic blasts. He would become just as fast if not faster than SS. and

this match isnt close to even.
the rings power comes from the will of the wielder. superman has more will then anyone. combined with his already abilities superman with a gl ring is like thanos level.
