I think the hulk would do what the JLA could not because he can match and surpass Shaggymans strenght

He also has the healing factor the experience the will power and yes the strength

Grab an issue of the Hulk from the 70's he fought plenty of huge alien/mystical/artificial life form villains that had supposedly greater strength...they kicked his ass for a few panels then he got mad and wore them out. Its the same antiquated plot line u find in DC right now.
