If he takes his shades off, I have no idea if it would affect Achilles.

Sorry had to put some stips about the stone stare.

Fight 1: Stone stare is off. They both go at it.
Fight 2: Stone stare is in full effect but Achilles is fully aware of his stone stare.

1. Achilles, Gorgon, while fast, relies on the stare too much. And opponents with super strength give him trouble, Stonewall can attest to that.

2. Not sure on this one.

1, Achilles easy.

2, still Achilles but in more of a fight. If he fights with his eyes closed he can still rely on his 'grace'.

Do we know yet whether Achilles has any telepathic resistance to speak of?

If telepathy can affect him, Gorgon for the mindrape.

Otherwise it largely depends on just how fast Achilles is. If he and Wonderwoman were fighting at Di's top speeds, then Achilles if he can exhaust Gorgon's healing factor. If Gorgon is close to Achilles' speed though (which isn't unreasonable, given that Gorgon is ridiculously fast and that top tiers rarely fight at top speeds), then Gorgon should win with or without the stone stare.

Well, not specifically shown yet, but being a god-champion make it highly likely, most of them have mental resistance.

If Gorgon is that good at the mindrape, when didn't he resort to that when Stonewall was whooping his ass all over the base during the free for fall?

I have seen him leaf through Wolverine's memories for fun though, and all of SHIELD, Wolverine and Elektra (the latter two who have telepathic resistance of their own) needed tech psi-blockers to keep him out.

Well I guess they show him at differing levels. And the fight was during Secret Warriors. Yo-Yo got her arms lopped off at the elbow by Gorgon, then Stonewall got pissed, grew to like 20 feet tall, then proceeded to hand Gorgon his ass.

And I don't have access to my own computer with all my scans on it.

Why not just give him his standard sword which is currently "god slayer"

He dident hand him anything, he flipped out and hit him like twice and gorgon got back up and went to fight him further but he was teleported away. He also had a normal sword at the time......what was he gunna do to some one of that durability, not to mention it was one of those times when the hero gets enraged and pulls something out his ass he earlier could not.


Also stonewall has the same powers as his father crusher creel.......who uses to fight thor......

Achilles still doesn't have enough showings to really establish the depth (and extent) of his powerset, so this is pure conjecture, but based on general averages of Gorgon, and the displayed (and implied) abilities of Achilles, I'd have to say Achilles in both cases, with the second being the most problematic, though Achilles could easily fight with his eyes closed. Not a stomp, but he takes it.

It's a sword forged by Hephaestus (I think) for Zeus.

Doesn't Phobos(God of Fear/Secret Warrior) have Grasscutter now? Which is also a heavenly blade?

I think that Achilles' being able to predict Diana's movements is about the only really problematic ability in his powerset for Gorgon. Then again, Gorgon has movement prediction/precog too, so... And can move faster/as fast as the speed of thought, and outfought Wolverine and Elektra simultaneously.

Plus, katana > spear.

you can just say that you dont know shit about achilles and you will look lesser dumb then now because there is no way he can beat achilles

It was barely a fight. Achilles could predict her movements, so Diana tackled him. The end.

See children, this is the type of "logic" that you should avoid, have a good day now.

Note that none of their clashes ended with Achilles really beat up or anything. Diana got the upper hand, then they ended due to Diana just wanting to get past him or Achilles having a trump to make her stand down, but the two could've easily kept going.

Also of note, stabbing in the heart doesn't work on him, he'll just heal.

Spears have more reach

They are an underestimated weapon, they were popular back in the old days and featured in some martial arts styles.
