What would the outcome be?

namorsubby
Gas pellets. Sleeping giant. Batman ftw.

Delta1938
Even though he was supposed to be still human, wasn't classic Kingpin pretty blatantly superhuman?

pym-ftw
He over powered classic Spidey who was around class 10 so I'd say so.

And took punches from him, angry punches even IIRC. I want to say they had Pete holding back on him as a retcon.

Prof. T.C McAbe
Batman, skills and belt ftw.

Stoic
Could go either way if tech is included, but H2H. Fisk would beat the bat shit out of him.

Supermutant
Batman recently beat Bane mainly h2h after Bane used his most powerful version of venom ever. Fisk goes down hard h2h or otherwise.

carver9
Batman wins.

Still wouldn't put that bane on Classic Kingpin's level. That bane wouldn't have shit on Spider-man.

I would, what has Classic Kingpin done that Bane hasn't shown the ability to do? Classic Kingpin didn't have anything on Spider-man either outside of pis. Spiderman has taken blows from Hulk, Phoenix Five Colossus, Rhino, and so forth. Classic Kingpin shouldn't touch or hurt him except for the plot.

pym-ftw
Lol

I don't like it =/= pis

DTM
If Batman has full gear, he wins fairly solidly, if its solely HTH Id give it to Kingpin.

You really don't see it.

More like I'm indifferent. But the point remains how could Classic Kingpin even hit Spider-man who has his precog, plus huge advantages in speed, agility, reflexes? Spider-man who has danced around way faster, quicker characters than Fisk.

Anyway Bane feats >> Classic Kingpin.

So how is it that classic Kingpin overpowering Spidey and taking blows from him and fine is "PIS" but Spidey taking blows from the characters you cited isn't? So bad writing is legit for one but not the other?

Branlor Swift
Batman wins. Especially factoring in the Bane showing. That was just ridiculous.

I'm content with it being bad writing for both. stick out tongue Although, Parker has more history of being able to take a beating than Kingpin who has been destroyed by a serious Peter.

I could be wrong, but I think that has something to do with why he's called "CLASSIC Kingpin."

Classic Kingpin meaning since we are now showing Peter's true power we have to come up with an excuse as to why a fat guy who only peak human could in the past overpower Spider-man.

No, Fisk had feats independent of beating Spidey. Shredding steel beams with his bare hands, for one, or staring at Daredevil as he tried to cave in his head with his club until his arms just about fell off, showing no reaction.

I ask again

When does something stop becoming pis/cis and start becoming actual feats for a char

The fact that Kingpin was able to take Spidey should show how much of a threat he is but people scream pis

I really didn't intend to be hating on Kingpin, he got some feats. But his feats are not better than Bane's feats of ripping off people arms and crushing their skull with one hand. Beating down a bunch of Gotham villains juiced up on venom, beating down an army of talons, easily ripping out steel doors and so on. Not to mentioned the agility and speed advantages he would have on Classic Kingpin. He jumped from the ground to the top of a lighthouse in one motion.

And Batman beat this Bane in h2h. He wouldn't have a problem with Classic Fisk.

DarkSaint85
Yes, but this Bane had insane damage soak. Kinda like a Punisher type.

Kingpin was flat out tanking Red Skull attempting to go for the kill and specifically using pressure points etc.

He was a beast, though the whole "he's too fat for pressure points" is just dumb.

I still favour Batman is this matchup, given his equipment.
