Does Corinthian have any fighting feats? I remember him being some sort of minor abstract or something created by Dream. He should have the raw power advantage. But as we know a) power isn't everything and b) Loki has actual feats.

Going with Loki for now.

DarkSaint85
He fought Vertigo's version of Loki and ate his eyes; but that Loki didn't have 5% of the feats Marvel's Loki has

leonidas
yeah as wit so much vertigo stuff, conceptually corinthian seemed above the normal gods, but it depends on how you view the normal gods in sandman/vertigo vs how they are depicted in the wider universes. i have my doubts it would go well for any loki, but there are no feats to back that up. gaiman is very well versed in mythology though, and it seemed his intent was to have corinthian on a tier above the common gods. /shrug

I've never read Death in Venice, I really should. I've only read the main Sandman series appearances. I think Loki probably wins.

leonidas
loki could for sure at least bfr him.

A minor abstract couldn't counter BFR? The way Corinthian is described in Vertigo is that he's everything Nightmare (from Marvel) wishes he was but isn't. On paper that's extremely powerful.

Because of he was a slacker.

leonidas
yeah but we've never seen him counter something like that. i don't think we can just go ahead and assume he could without the proof. like i said, overall i think corinthian is intended to be pretty well above the standard gods, but as with most things vertigo they don't sit well in vs match ups. just not that type of characters.

Well, a series about Corinthian comes out in a few weeks, written by Tynion
