What would happen if these two alien species met? Yes they both have hosts.

Scarabs are more powerful in general.

Could the symbiote infect the scarab, possibly corrupting it physically?

I have no idea, havent kept up with the latest developments concerning symbiotes. The Scoren symbiot die have a certain degree of technopathy, integrating tech, but the Scarab is more than that.
