full power lucifer would win. What's "full power lucifer" exactly? Surely, you're not suggesting that the Demiurgos power that Michael possessed was Lucifer's?

Or are you just trying to handwave away the events of volumes 2-3 of Lucifer?

Because Vol 2 likely isnt in continuity anymore, and Holly herself had said as much on twitter.
And Vol 3 took place before/during Vol 1

We see that the entirety of vol 3 was one of his old attempts at making it out of the plan just to be put right back in place, while at the end of Vol 1, he does.

By 'full power', one would assume they means he is still The Morningstar and has his wings and . . his full power.

And Vol 3 took place before/during Vol 1 Yes, I read them. Several times. Particularly vol.3.

I also do not consider writer interviews, much less allusions to random Twitter comments. If I could be bothered to count the number of phucks I give about them, I might attempt it. However, it might be mathematically impossible to count to zero. Suggesting Holly Black's Lucifer vol.2 was some alternate DC/Vertigo version is just another way of saying IDLI, IDH.

It's also supremely ironic given that I recall so many KMC posters demand that Carey's Yahweh, or Lucifer, or Elaine Belloc were singularly representative of the entirety of the DC/Vertigo multiverse. Glad that's no longer an issue between us. Originally posted by Juntai

Your interpretation belies that you haven't read vol.3 recently or closely. The cart does not lead the horse. And how Lucifer vol.1 ended does not dictate when Lucifer vol.3 started/ended.

Finally.

Someone had to say it.

You, sir, are the true hero... no... the true messiah of this forum.

Accept me as your apostle, I'm begging you!

Lucifer vol.3 is a masterpiece.

It needs to be read altogether. Because I had no idea wtf was going on the first 2 issues. Every few pages were about a different character in a different scene dealing with a seemingly disconnected plot.

I just stopped reading it altogether. When it finished it's run, I tried again. Still didn't get it at first and my eyes were still glazing over those first few issues but once I made it past the first 3 issues, I witnessed the plot threads tying themselves together. Ultimately, there is not a wasted panel or line of dialogue.

Dan Watters is one of my favorite writers just from that volume alone. I'll give anything he reads a chance.

My only criticism of vol.2 was the art clashed horribly with the tone of the story. The script/plot had violence, mystery, wit, irony and horror. The art was cartoony, blocky, and flat in comparison. Like.. coupled with a fun story about say... the Runaways or Booster Gold, the art would be perfect. It just clashes so badly that it makes the script/plot seem immature and trite.

If you can get past that, vol.2 is a pretty decent cosmic procedural murder mystery.

I read Odin is in volume 3. Did he do anything of note?

^ Vertigo's Odin is an overarching presence in the third of four parts of Dan Watters' vol.3 run. It revolves almost entirely around Odin and the Wild Hunt.

It may not be easily accessible unless you actually buy the volumes given there was an actual cancellation of vol. 3's serialization. But it's easily worth the time you take to search or the money you use to purchase.
