The teams throw down for a purely hand to hand arena battle. No weapons, no prep, no BFR.

Who comes out on top - the gods or the Eternals?

** Bonus team swap round 2 **:
Hercules and Gilgamesh vs Thor and Ikaris HTH brawl.

zopzop
Thor and Hercules in round 1. Thor and Ikaris in round 2. Gilgamesh is less than useless.

lawest9
Team 1 in first scenario and Thor and Ikaris in the 2nd fight, more versatile making Herc the weak link.

What versatility? This is H2H only in both rounds. Hercules is best brawler here.

Thinkerer
So no energy powers? Thor and Herc annihilate.

lawest9
So then.....yes, Hercules likely the last man standing.

Current Gilga is out of shape.

At his prime, he can assrape those losers from T1.

You think so? Thor has schooled Gilgamesh but he's never gotten the best of Hercules (I actually remember Hercules choking out Thor till Thor cheated with lightening). Then you have their h2h brawls vs a common foe (Hulk), Hercules did better.

IMHO, h2h only, it's Hercules > Thor >= Ikaris >> Gilgamesh.

Look, this might've been a decent post of yours, but you forgot that Thor has been officially confirmed by Marvel themselves to be at the bottom of the pecking order:

Holy sh|t. If that's real, Marvel writers must despise this character.

Hmmm?!.......you said that Thor has never gotten the 'best of Hercules', actually Thor has as my memory may go back a little further than yours, THOR #221- 1973 a fighting mad Thor got the better of Herc before Zues halted the fight, the T-God was fighting mad over a misunderstanding but it wasn't warrior madness.

Yeah I was kind of thinking of classic Gilgamesh in his prime.

Gadabout
Thor #299....Thor whoops Gil's azz right in front of 'One Above All"

Zeus, not "Zues".

Rogue, not "Rouge".

It's not about despising him... it's about seeing how as the joke he is.

Here's the source, honey:

Rogue, not "Rouge". I see my incidental misspelling of Zeus but I made no mention of Rogue.

StiltmanFTW
You did in the past.

A Stilt never forgets.
