I'm still mystified by Nathan... there's something about his reflection that really freaks me out

...And HRG... that'd be fun to watch

Mairuzu
I want to see HRG pwn face again...

and yea Nathan's whole mirror thing was freaky

Captain REX
Seems this episode will have a few revelations for us, eh?

Hopefully they'll address Nathan's reflection a bit more; we haven't really heard from him since the first episode. Seems he's shaved, though...

I'm guessing Angela Petrelli is due to spill the beans about the older generation of Heroes and what's going on.

Aaand we get to see Mr. Nightmare!

...and that short clip of the people getting out of the car? It looked like...good old...Sylar...in the road... no expression

Tattoo
I was totally gonna post this last night, but I wasn't in the mood. shrug

Mairuzu
I didn't think it would be sylar.. if he really killed Candace then hes pretty much stuck in that jungle.. and he happens to be on a road in Mexico..

that's what I thought.... but we are not entirely sure where he is, so it could be possible he is somewhere near to Central America... but I think it might be a while before we see more development with Sylar's storyline... I could be wrong, however

Well, we don't know where that jungle is, but I doubt that he stays in it.

West is an evil lunatic. I'm pretty convinced he (maybe just because I hate how much of a cliche the guy is) is being controlled by someone to hunt down the Company founders and members (Kaito, HGR, Angela), or simply doing it for his own personal revenge.

Either that, or it's a cleverly concealed red herring (of which would be rare for Heroes).

Either that, or it's a cleverly concealed red herring (of which would be rare for Heroes). West isn't the killer. That would be stupid.

Course it's stupid, but then again old Heroes ain't exactly prim full of good ideas and writing now, is it?

Yes, I love the show you nutter. What's that got to do with anything?

Quincy
There isn't anything wrong with Exanda's statement.

I love Heroes. It's one of my favorite two shows that are still on the air with new episodes (Lost ftw) but just because I love the show doesn't mean I think that the show has a brilliant writing staff and plot development.

I can see that there are lots of plot holes in the show, and revelations that are less than extraordinary, and very irritating and annoying moments ("Claire...shut up *zoom*"wink

Captain REX
I thought it was actually kinda funny, myself. stick out tongue

exanda kane
I kept shouting to my flat mates that he was gonna drop her from 30,000 feet up and try and kill her. That's how far my West paranoia goes.

Remember, the unnofficial tagline for Season 2 is Chastise the Cheerleader, Save the World.

I would have paid to see him do that. stick out tongue

Shes just eye candy for the young'ns.... and for Peter IRL HAH

I actually thought about West dropping her, and realized that it would be funny because Claire would hit the ground, then get up and walk away.

No, it's not. I see no reason for him to explain his personal opinion either. He said that the phrase you came up with is stupid in his opinion...nothing to explain there, he just doesn't like it.

exanda kane
This seems to be the defining misunderstanding here.

I was going to give him a little breathing space, to give his opinion a tad of credibility, making it a valid opinion for all to hear, for all to discuss. That to me is a valid opinion. Obviously, since he, nor you perhaps, want to give any intellectual or logical weight behind your statements, you do not intend to give a valid opinion at all. For all purposes your opinion could mean nothing. Or did I get the wrong end of the stick?

Captain REX
Opinions do not have to be backed unless they are being turned into facts, really...

All I'm going to say is..... BEST EPISODE YET IMO!!!

Blax_Hydralisk
So the Black chick apparently possesses the Sharingan.

Ordained
What is that? Sharingan?

Blax_Hydralisk
The Sharingan's first and most well known ability is to memorize any technique that it witnesses. It can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own.

It's from Naruto, so it won't be called that in Heroes, but that's just what I'm going to call it, because they're similar.

Strangelove
Your theory is a definite possibility, but I would qualify that it seems to be specifically tied to what she sees on TV.

Captain REX
Seems so. She cut the tomato into a flower, then mirrored that wrestling move. Photographic reflexes? It's associated with that odd thumping noise, though...

Lots of Sylar-based ticking noises this episode. Poor Maya and Alejandro...they don't realize...

A lot of revelations for Parkman, too. His life basically sucks right now.

Blax_Hydralisk
Maya was pissing me off to no end this episode.

Alejandro: Tell him no.

Maya: Yes! We are but it was an accident lolz!

I mean I understand that they're going through some touch crap right now, but for someone on the run she sure is trustful.

Also, they killed off DL. Bastards.

Tattoo
Not the best episode of the season, I would have liked more development with Peter and hell, even Niki. They didn't show us a damn thing with them either.

I noticed a few quirky set ups with the camera, very odd close ups on the Bennet family coming from down low and looking up. Then with Maya and company it seemed to always be a hand held camera. I wonder who the director of this one was...

Anyways...I love where the story is going with Mohinder/Parkman/Molly. I can't wait to see how this develops. And Parkman's dad?! The Boogeyman?! Can he be the killer of Kaito Nakamura though? His body shape is much different than the man we saw go over the edge of the Deveaux Building.

It's more than that though, Sharingan sounds more like the power Charlie possessed in season 1, the Enhanced Memory. She could memorize any technique if she wanted to and she could learn anything else really fast too. Strangles is on to something here with the TV theory.

Captain REX
From how he looked in that picture? I doubt that he is the killer.

We at least have faces for this Group of Twelve.

The currently available Heroes Mobile Game (for cell phones) has confirmed that there were six founding members of the Company, which is relevant to the photo. In the game, Niki obtains this information from Linderman's casino (while doing work for the Company?)

And the founding members are...

-Daniel Linderman
-Arthur Petrelli
-Angela Petrelli
-Maury Parkman
-Kaito Nakamura
-Adam Monroe

We get to pin names to a few people. There is only one unnamed guy in the photograph, I'm going to guess that he is Adam Monroe. That leaves three women...

Blax_Hydralisk
I hadn't noticed the fact that both times she used the technique after wtaching it on TV. I only saw her do it with the 619 stick out tongue

I agree with "Strangles", too.

Captain REX
Hmm. Dunno if Charlie could memorize techniques; most of her power was used for information, such as obscure words, learning Japanese, and later Sylar learning to drive a truck by reading the manual.

However, I don't think Monica's power has to do with memorization; it seems unconscious.

In any case, I want her to watch 'The Matrix.'

Captain REX
And my bad, there are two unnamed males in the photograph, one which we never see quite clearly.

Strangelove
Did anyone else really enjoy Angela Petrelli in this episode? It's what inspired me to make the thread.

I kinda wanted Nana to be in the Group of 12 sad

Oh, another thing. Everyone was always so 'z0mg Matt baby!' and wanted to know what power it would have...but yeah, not his kid, I guess?

This episode disappointed me... i didnt like that stupid annoying black kid... my god hes ugly...

everything else was ok tho haha...

Parkmans father? teh fuh?

they showed Molly's power even more specifically

starlock
Maybe its me ,but this multi part story....told over a season is starting to make me distracted and not really caring about the show, i think west is suffering from claires creek syndrome...have claire doing somthing interesting and not totally boring, and west might be liked,

I find myself thinking of playing a video game instead of watching the show, The first season i was really interested but i was still annoyed at the pace, not sure if i will last this season

I'm pretty sure they would need WWE's permission for even just showing the match on the TV, otherwise they'd be facing lawsuits. But then having that annoying kid call the move out by name, that's another trademark. So yeah, I'm sure it's safe to assume they had a deal.

Why did you catch me? I would have regerated...

Like I said, I loved this episode. And what was with Molly's eyes getting the Heroes theme signature in them when she agreed to look for Matt's dad? Was that the boogeyman looking at her or something?

Captain REX
The symbol is showing up much this season, and more obviously.

The Pict
Great episode! Can't wait for the next one.
Micah's cousin looks to be an interesting character but I wonder if she is gonna have a pointless story (kinda like D.L had)

Mairuzu
saw another cockroach as well

Captain REX
Yup! That cockroach seems to be stalking Sylar.

Dude, Micah hacked Pay Per View. That made me happy.

chickenlover98
micah's power seems worthless. unless he can learn to control it without touching things. then it could be a horror movie where he moves trucks with his mind to kill. that sorta thing

I'm sorry, but you are the most useless Heroes fan I've ever seen. You hate all the characters and you think everyone needs an awesome mind-blowing power. Micah's power is awesome. I would love to be able to touch an ATM and get as much money as I wanted from it. Just because you don't like it does not mean it's a useless power.

Agreed.. Micah's ability is awesome, I would love to be able to get free cash from ATM's and get all pay per view stuff for free big grin

It may well have been just me, but the camera seemed to linger a little too long on Micah hugging X (what's her name, Monica?), a few reverse shots in there too, even when they were not conversing.

A few seconds after this pause, Micah seems to be able to realise X's problem and subsequently tries to comfort her about it.

Anyone else think this was odd?

Blax_Hydralisk
I noticed that as well. I thought he was maybe using his power or something on her at first, but I dunno.

Mairuzu
Yea, he tried to "Fix" her dreams... but he realized his powers doesn't work like that, only with machines...

it was kinda awkward too haha

but yes, who ever says micahs powers aren't badass.. you are a fool

S_D_J
I have to agree with whomever said it was the best episode so far, I really enjoyed it.

I liked Monica, she's good looking and her power seems great... I too want her to see the Matrix big grin... but I'm pretty sure that's what she'll do, watching action movies I mean.

And Sylar... damn that guy's still one bad ass muthaf***er, I love the look on his face when he drove off with Maya and Alejandro.
(BTW: you were rite Captain Rex wink )
and about Maya, at least their story has gotten interesting, I just wonder how long will Gabriel wait before he goes Sylar on them.

I'm beginning to think there's something more to the cockroaches, Kring said they are recurring themes cuz their associated to evolution and survival of the fittest, but the cockroaches are everywhere... there's even one painted on Niki's portrait.

Angela was great this episode

but when Matt was escorting her away, it looked as though she was staring at someone, I thought they were gonna show someone important or unexpected to be at the hospital

about Parkman... that was totally great... great way to end the episode

One kid ruined the show for you? he was hardly in it. What ruined the show for me was how utterly stupid the entire episode was, or how annoying Maya was telling complete strangers everything, but not trusting one person who speaks her first language and actually tried to help her. Or the fact that Nathan can't see his kids with no explanation as to why, or the fact that Sylar killed that guy with the stolen car and the twins who trusted him first did not once think it odd he was gone, or not noticing how crazy Sylars eyes are he looks like a lunatic. Or how Mr. Bennett follows directly behind Claire and is more pissed that she somehow ditched him instead of being curious at how fast she did, or the fact that he would move his family to the town where he abducted a flying boy, enroll his daugter in the same school as fly boy, and tell her to pretend to be normal and keep a low profile. Or why he wouldn't relocate his family farther away from Texas, or how Parkman is able to have Molly living with him and going to school without any questions. Or how Claire who is supposed to be in hiding called Nathan like it was nothing. Or how the Haitian was in New York and seemed to instantly arrive at Mr. Bennetts job on the other side of the country, or that nobody in almost 400 years mentioned that Hiro's idol was white even though the entire village his history was based on saw him without his mask. Or why Ando nor Hiro never realized the sword had an inscription on it with Ando's full name on it, or the fact that a 400 year sword which is priceless and a collectors item could have had that secret compartment for 400 years and not one collector or appraiser noticing it. But one kid ruined the show, I wish it was the easy for me. I'll admit that even though so far the show has done nothing but piss me off, it's like crake to me and I have to have it.
