by gore i mean saw and hostel level of gore

Scarecrow756
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974 Version)- This hardly has any gore in it apart from at the very end but it relies on scares from its very realistic/documentary feel.

Halloween (1978 Version)- This again like TCM has hardly any gore in it at all it relies on scares from its music and tension.

MildPossession
Them/Ils - Good scary French film.

steverules

" The Town that dreaded sundown" good movie, hardly a drop of blood. Good horror movie... the fact that it's a true story does not hurt either.

Yeah way more gorier, that's all it has to offer is lots of blood and T&A. Rob Zombie biffed it, right on his mug.

steverules
Whats T&A?

Pandemoniac
The display of certain curvy body parts, you'll figure it out.

To the 'good while low on gore' list I' d like to add;

Alien
The Sixth Sense
Misery

vintageSW77
Peter Jacksons BRAINDEAD

not enough for my liking

Seriously ill go for the orig Carnival Of Souls alongside the orig TCM.
