Hal is not only more powerful, but his powers are more flexible, and open to creativity.

Hal is also a master strategist, and has no low showings against beings with similar powers to Glads.

Glads has lost to lots of people that have had the ability to outthink him.

Glads makes lots of mistakes, and tends to put all his eggs in one basket, relying solely on strength and power.
