Because Thanos hasn't shown anything since he died, so you have no idea what he can do, if anything. He could have been stripped of all his power and is just there for Death to play with for all we known. But we don't know. So if you want to use "barely standing" Warlock who appeared in 2 pages and has no feats, then I can use currently dead Thanos who appeared on one panel and has no feats.
So all we have are the scans. Not a good measure of his power level. If he is severly weakened, then Thanos is severly dead. Weakened Warlock w/no feats > dead Thanos w/no feats.
Thanos does have the better feats, but Thanos is also scared of Warlock. He wouldn't be if Warlock was nothing to him.
So is Thanos because he is dead. Don't make up some phantom power level for him when he hasn't shown anything.
No, I'm arguing against you stupidly using the "barely standing" Warlock when you know damn well the threadmaker didn't mean that. Terrible logic.
There is nothing anywhere, ever that has shown someone after he died, being weaker (in Marvel anyway). And it doesn't help that Thanos has gotten a powerup last time he died. In fact, the only logical speculation would be that he has gotten more powerful, but I'm not one to do that.

I'm following living Thanos's powers.
You're speculating, I'm not.
Also, even if he is dead, it hardly matters, since he's in the thread. You saying he's a ghost means nothing, or else Mar-Vell would be pointless on the board (before Cival War). Also, Thanos has killed people that reside in Death's realm, which make them tangible to the living. So, Thanos won't be a ghost either. But current Warlock is still weak.
However, I was just pointing out that Warlock can barely stand currently, and you were the one that said Warlock could be stronger (and 'assumed' that he would be used in this thread), and I pointed out the fault in that logic.
I'm only following the assumption that we are using current version (judging by previous statements). He's not more powerful, and we know this. You can't assume he's more powerful, because we know he's not. I know the threadstarter isn't using current can't stand Warlock; he's most likely using Warlock from his mini, or from Thanos's series.
You responded to a comment that was meant for another member, and that doesn't always work.
He said Warlock would be stronger, I said he's weaker.
- Bottom line, current Warlock is weaker (as of now), whether Current is in this thread or not. If we're using him, he's useless. But according to you he's not in this thread, so it's classic. And Classic still gets beaten.

Just because you might be scared of someone, doesn't mean you can't kill them. Also, the Soul Gem might have had some work in that before. Plus, even if he was scared of him (which I don't recall), did that happen to be like... 10-20 years ago?
Warlock also hasn't been too dynamic in raw power anyway.
