Alright I've downloaded this software called ConvertXtoDVD and I have a CD-R drive I guess and I was wondering if it's possible to burn DVD's with that or do I have to go out and get an additional piece of hardware to do that?

I was converting a mpeg-4 to a dvd file and I got that far but once I get to the burn process the burn button is grayed out and I looked into that and found out that I don't have a dvd burner like I thought I did, just cd-r...so I'm screwed right?

CD-R Drive can only read CD's and record CD's.
CD Drive can only read CD's.
DVD Drive can read CD's, Record CD's, and read DVD's
DVD-R Drive can read CD's, Record CD's, read DVD's, and record DVD's.

Sadly I don't have the money to buy an external DVD recorder..*sigh*
