The protagonists of the Double Dragon series gain their respect thread.

The masters of Sousetsuken, Billy and Jimmy Lee.

I remember playing this on Nintendo and SNES. The series is a joy and a cult classic to this day (with Super Double Dragon as my favorite). They have been overshadowed by Final Fight and Streets of Rage, but the Lee boys have held their own.

They should make a 3D Double Dragon game.

From what I've seen with Street Fighter EX, I wouldn't hold my breath.

It would be interesting.

Anyway, Double Dragon was a cool game.

Unless they can shoot ki from their bodies, they stand not a chance in hell against the likes of even Dan Hibiki.

Did they ever appear in a game that wasn't a beat-em-up, besides Double Dragon 5?

Billy and Jimmy Lee were okay.

Their coolest enemy was Abobo.

They were also in another one on one fighting game as well called Double Dragon Neo-Geo. Here's a vid if it to see it in action:

Double Dragon is really cool and so are Billy and Jimmy Lee too.

He's popular, too.

He appeared in every single Double Dragon game.

Oh yeah man, Abobo is one of the best.

It was always fun fighting Abobo.

Yeah, he was a fun villain to fight against.

I always looked forward to fighting Abobo in a Double Dragon game.

He looked so...intimidating.

Yeah, I guess.

Of course he looked intimidating.

The guy had oversized muscles and was completely ripped to the max.
