I pretty much quitted Marvel around his time on Amazing Spiderman.

Well good for him. While a a good artist all he has mostly done is Spider-Man(I love his Spidey). Now he'll have a chance to move away from his safety zone and try new things. Maybe he'll do Teen Titans next.

Interesting. Thought he'd always be a Marvel lifer. He started drawing Spider Man nearly twenty years ago. But, each company has musical chairs for projects; when the music stops and some creators are on the outside, then they cross the street to the other company. Jim Starlin, the Kuberts, Scott Kolins and now Bagley go to DC in the past year. Alex Ross is returning to Marvel; anyone else recently come with him?

Keith Giffen stays with DC a little longer...

And Wonder Woman looks Jewish.

I don't know, but I wasn't excited for this when it was announced, when some preview images showed up or now, one day before it's released.

I've read in an advanced review that it's awsome. So I guess it's better this way since in most cases, hype ruins stories.

naturally im confused...cuz current booster gold issues show despero as some lame ass looking dinosaur guy....like the one that did the spitting in jurassic park...now i read ish #1 an "enigma" and le fay shows despero as a hulking brute....WTF?

His body and power level depend on who's body he takes over.

actually no....despero grants his hosts the same level of power as his original body....thats how powerful he is or at least suppossed to be.

I thought the Despero in Booster Gold was Despero from the past. I'm just basing that on the fact that that's what he looked like back in the day.

Enjoying Trinity a heck of a lot.

Smart characterization. Enjoyed the way each character took out their threats in this one: Superman worked out his problem, Diana challenged herself to become a better warrior and fought it out, and Batman thought it out and beat it by the his intensity and singularity of vision.

Well done, Busiek. Even the way they order breakfast in issue one gave us insights into the Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman paradigm, and their personal idiosyncracies.

i do have the psd photoshop files if you want to make a sig out of them...

In the preview of the next issue, Superman is back on his feet a few seconds later, without any lasting damage, and charges at Konvikt. So yeah ..

I bought the first two issues today and quite enjoyed it. An impressive feat for Superman, throwing that Sun out into space.

Was anybody else creeped out by Flash's kids in issue 1? His son has a short but outrageously muscular body with a boy's head on top and his daughter didn't seem to lose her maniacal grin.

I haven't seen so much brutality since Doomsday DOS. He pretty much took out the current Justice League and still goes and fight Supes and Diana.

from those scans it looks to me like supes was starting to get the upper hand on konvict. this is starting to look like a much better showing for supes than it did originally, seeing as how konvict pretty much railed the league.
