Respect Jean...er, Jacques Blanc.
His only appearance is on Onimusha 3: Demon Siege, but he is still one bad-ass Frenchman.
Jacques is a widower with a son and a member of the Direction Generale de la Securite Exterieure's (General Directorate for External Security), under the 29th SA Operations Division of the French Military. His primary weapons is his FN90 submachine gun and his M1911 .45 automatic pistol.
Jacques is badass enough since he is the first non-Japanese character to hold the Oni Power (Roberto Frois doesn't count, since he is half-Japanese himself), but what adds to the level of badass-ness is that he is modeled after the French actor Jean Reno, who did the French dialogue for the game. Sadly, Reno couldn't do the English voice work, which was done by voice actor Paul Mercier (Leon Kennedy in RE4).
Regardless, Jacques deserves his respect thread.
