I'm watching youtube and find a bunch of videos by guys know as "pick up artists". Come on, sites like http://www.bapua.com and guys with the name of eban wind pagan, how can it be real?

Any of you girls come across guys using this junk?

I would end my relationship if my boyfriend tried something like that on me.

There's books/seminars/etc. on picking up women. I thought about reading one once just out of curiosity since I don't even know what the techniques would be. It's all a bit creepy that it's taken so seriously, but it's not like it's illegal to pick a girl up using premeditated techniques.

I find it weird, too, how far some of the people go. But I think the general idea to improve ones pick up techniques is not bad. It's a rather practical use of psychology. In theory I find it great. But there are assholes and idiots of course giving it a bad name (because there are assholes and idiots everywhere).

My friend and my brother read "The Game" as an introduction to it I believe. It's like some biographical thing I guess. I will probably read it once my brother is back, to see what the fuzz is about. Though I must say the image makes me .... nauseus at times.
