HonkyTonkMan
The battle takes place at Junon (FF7). Both are at their prime fighting ability. Both are fighting for the survival of their planet. Who takes it?

Chaos in a stomp

Can Sparda form Dante stop time?

Burning thought
ime not sure he should be able to, although it makes you wonder

also when you say Devil dante is this sparda form? ime not sure about this guy but Dante is a bit of a beast in Sparda form

HonkyTonkMan
Devil mode...Sparda mode....yeah, that. Both are in their primes minus Dantes Time Stopping ability as time stopping is for the 'cool' people.

Chaos in a stomp I have to disagree. This is a worthy fight, and if we're keeping Quicksilver in mind, let's not forget Stop materia from FF7 either. erm

If dante can just simply stop time to defeat anyone he wants, why does he even have a game, he can just stop time and go kill the final boss if it were that simple.

Sado-sama
Not all abilities are used at all times even if characters possess them, and in some cases, they don't think it's necessary.

Terryc250
exactly, ppl just think its that simple.. like he can just kill anyone he wants by stopping time then killing them while time is frozen, if he can just simply do that why didnt he do it to vergil?

In KMC peeps consider all possibilities and choose the best one, like if it is possible for Dante to stop time within a split second and hack something, then it is taken into consideration, so because he did not do it at one particular instant means nothing except that he didn't use the ability at that point. Dante and Vincent can both stop time (in Vincent's case it's with materia), so I shouldn't be reading Dante wins because he can stop time.

Violent2Dope
But Dante can stop time first. 313

And who the hell said Vince has stop materia?

Burning thought
can he actually "stop" time and not slow it, in gameplay, in all the descriptions as well, its simply time lag, as well as the moves name "quicksilver" which would mean hes simply going faster than usual which is why enemies are slowed, the only thing that contradicts these 3 sources is the one video clip of him stopping some rocks, it seems however he takes a second of concentration to do it as well as it having a timer on it like DT has
