You forgot one scan ....it shows Bruce Wayne doing morning practice, and in it he basically kicks at a tree in his yard ....and it falls in half.

For comparison purposes, Batgirl (Cassie) once kicked at Lady Shiva (more of a sweep), missed, impacted on a chimney, and shattered the darn thing all across the rooftop. Shiva actually said that was impressive.

Imagine what she would say at Bruce practicing the batkick on trees, or drawing blood from Darkseid.

This is why Batman as 'peak human' has always been an inside joke in DC.

Hint 2 (gave hint 1 around 2 months ago): Why is Batman a key member of the JLA?
Now, before you say 'brains' consider that virtually every member of the league is of above human intellect (with some, e.g. MM, being way above that). If you say strategy consider that someone like the MM managed to create a super-long-term strategy (which culminated in him melding with the planet Mars, replacing a piece of Kryptonite with a GL ring, staying in that state ....one with the planet ....for thousands upon thousands of years, until the final event in JLA 1 Million when Solaris launched the GL ring at SM Prime). Oh, and if it is about nasty tricks and all that stuff (e.g. Batman's list of stratagems to use against every member of the JLA), please remember that MM had such a list FIRST, whcih detailed how to take down every member of the JLA. One reason why MM was on Batman's side when he was in trouble with the LEague after the events of Tower of Babel.
Thus, why is Bat's in the JLA.
