So basically from your summary alone i can hazard a guess that the Jake dude has something to do with it all as he wouldn't knowling take first timers to go shrooming in weird surroundings, make up some bull about calling the cops so he can take their mobiles hence ending communication between them so they can be killed off one by one and then lay those kind of bad vibes on them before they drop the shrooms which no sane drug user would do to a friend lol.
