Mr. Fantastic vs Dr. Strange

Magic vs Tech.

I know this automatically sounds like an instant win for Magic because its literally anything they need it to be but with Reed and tech its pretty much the same.

So assuming Reed gets the prep he thinks he's needs to handle Strange and Strange for Reed, who could take who?

Strange with his magic or Reed with his tech and prep?

Hopefully I wrote that so everyone understood it but if not please let me know what I should clarify. 😮

I would say magic doom was giving reed a hell of a time when he was pumped up on it and with all his tech Strange is the only reason that Stark does not have the New avengers in jail right now.

When it comes down to it, magic and super-tech play the same role in fiction. Therefore, depending on the writer either one can overcome the other. Stalemate.

Agreed

Reed can only destroy a person's body and is pretty much limited to the physical. Strange can destroy a person's mind, body and soul. And with Strange's nearly, if not totally incomprable time control, Reed has no chance whatsoever.

Probably both. Tech and the mental plane is always iffy and not generally used. Tech and souls on the other hand, tech loses to magic practically everytime. Batman1M is maybe the sole exception. Tech combined with magic ala Doctor Doom does not count. 😛

There's a bunch of technology that seems to block telepathy or inhibit powers so it has to have some effect on the mind. I wouldn't put it past anyone to make machines that affect souls because of how ridiculous technology is in the comics but yeah, I haven't seen that except for Batman 1m, and that's like his only feat.

What about tech and magic combined ala Green Lantern?
