umm, he says he LET Hulk 'win', so ...

anyway, Hulk can tussle with magic/mystical force quite well so... I dunno, could Mephisto put the Hulk down properly?

as for the soul thing, we saw how powerful and capable Hulk is in the Astral plane, so I doubt it'll be any easier than taking him down physically...

If Mephisto actually wants to win, he'll take Hulk no problem. But Mephisto is both a notorious jobber and someone who doesn't care about losing a match if it means he get more souls to corrupt in the long run.

Mephisto transforms himself into Super Hulk and breaks some bones.

Mephisto seems to always want the souls of superheroes. If he wanted to kill the various teams who've entered his realm like the X-Men and Avengers and so forth, then he would've done so long ago, but to a devil like him, souls are a more valuable commodity, and pure souls from superheroes are even more valuable. He pretty much stated to Silver Surfer that he has always feigned defeat in their encounters. In his own realm and actually seeking to kill a superhero in his realm, he could easily do it without the slightest trouble, even if hes the World War Hulk.

He'd order him to choke his chicken for a few hours then send him back to Thunderbolt Ross.
