But as long as it's nicely done and doesn't seem forced I won't really complain.

Interesting, perhaps I should give DC another chance, even tho they ran me off with Superboy punching reality...

The original rumor was that DC's biggest heroes (more than just the trinity) would be killed off in Final Crisis and made into New Gods as part of the Fifth World. The various sidekicks would take their place as Superman, Batman, etc.

Apparently it's now just Batman.
