The Versus forum has become boring, and plagued with Hulk Threads.
It is practically "Spam".

I suggest that there should be a separate area for Hulk Versus Threads.

Either that, or an area dedicated to non-Hulk threads.

Either way, I think there should be a separation.

This is all I am going to say for now. I will wait to see what the rest of you say.

as it is, most of the threads seem to be made as a form of spite towards both the fictional character and the very real fans on this forum.

You guys realise that there actually used to be a Hulk forum on KMC? ... it sucked ballzz and was closed down, which was funny because the Hulk fanboys couldn't handle the loss at first and were complaining about it in almost every thread.

The Hulkites. Or, as many of you like to be called, the "Hulkasexuals" should be excised immediately, and placed in some dark corner of the forums.
Some magical area where comic continuity, a loose handle on science and plain common sense have no place.

An area where a strong guy can clap a universe out of existence, wear indestructible clothes, and be beaten bloody on a consistent basis without it being called a "loss".

It's out there somewhere! I just know it!

Much as I'm going to regret this, I agree with Horrificus. The Hulk sub-forum was a dumb idea then, but it might have merit now. But let's include Sentry in this idea too.

This hatred towards the character of Hulk is getting ridiculous. I mean the storm fans are much worse. This isnt that big of a deal. If someone wants to say Spiderman beats Lt all day let them I could care less. This really shouldnt matter that much to you people. You giving the Hulk special privileges as a character means the fanboys have won and have gotten the better of you.

Not really I think that the Hulk is used to guage many characters strength level. Many people like to call him weak, but the fact is that he is used here so often because everyone knows that he is on the level. If not why isn't there more vs Etrigan, or other brick threads? Hulk is the mark on which people whether they like the character or not use as a focal point or pinnacle of strength. If not and i am wrong he will be used less than he has been, or would not have been used as much in the first place.

There's nothing you can't take care of in the vs. forum and/or general comic forum, where the hulk has various threads dedicated to him.

Which ignores that fact that making spam threads are just about the worst way to engender change on the boards. But that's ok...I'd expect nothing less from someone who ends their appeal with "Then I Will Crush My Enemies Mercilessly!"

And, here is another big difference. It would seem that most of the guys that agree with me, are of the more coherent members on the forum.
They can actually put sentences together and cool stuff like that!

back on topic, I think the flood of Hulk threads is actually down to people who were initially overly sensitive to (and somewhat baseless in their counter assertions against) the trickle of Hulk threads in the period between the middle of the Planet Hulk and the end of the WWH minis.

people decided to launch spite threads and place their favourite top tier against Hulk, hoping for a comic (no pun intended) thread filled with parodies of standard Hulk lines or misrepresentations of some of the more combative Hulk fans. instead what happened was that people got interested in the character, as the minis had (quite rightly) captured the interest of the casual comic reader (me, for instance), resulting in more on-the-level questions and then further "Hulk talk" across threads. this then led to some genuine "Hulk Vs..." threads from people trying to gauge his place in the scheme of things... a feedback loop to which the initially highly irritated Hulk-hate crowd responded with yet more, and more bizarre, "Hulk Vs..." threads.


this could be a metaphor for the way anger/stress leads to an exponential increase in strength for The Hulk!
