Snafu the Great
Kigabami Genjyuro is furious.
Word reaches to him while he is inside a courtesan's house that his most hated rival, Haohmaru, was finally brought down.
In an opium-induced rage, Genjyuro kills the messenger and the courtesan, adding two more bodies to his body count. Sobering up, he seeks out Haohmaru's other rival Ukyo Tachibana, he tells him the person responsible for Haohmaru's death is a man named Setsuna.
"The battle took place outside of Edo," Ukyo explained. "I was there when it happened, watching from the shadows. Haohmaru knew it was a battle to the death, but he kept on fighting. Then...Setsuna took his head, and his sword as trophies."
"What does this man look like?" Genjyuro demanded.
"A man...a man with flowing white hair and carries a katana with a black blade. He has an owl for a pet. Be warned, Genjyuro. Setsuna is no mere man.
"Master Nicotine has told me and Haohmaru about a warrior who is in fact a powerful spirit of the underworld, let loose through Hell's Gate. He posessed the body of a dead baby and was revived, growing up with malice and hatred in his heart."
Deciding that he has heard enough, Genjyuro leaves without further incident.
After a month of hard training, Genjyuro finds Setsuna under the full moon. Ukyo's description about him was dead-on.
Genjyuro is in for the battle of his life.
